Hi,

I've got the game running nicely (except for the jerky cut scenes) using an original Xbox pad, an xbox-to-usb cable and the XBCD drivers.

However, as with lots of people I too am having a hard time getting my second joystick to function as a trick stick (as you would commonly find on the xbox).

Is it possible for me to set this second joystick up to work? or am I doomd to being trickless?

thanks alot
Andy

Hey, same problem here also! Except I cannot get my left and right triggers to work? Could any of you please tell me how you did this?

Yea my triggers didn't work at first... as far as I can tell the problem comes from the fact that FIFA 07 can only have a maximum of (i think) 9 or 10 buttons... and the triggers default at being buttons 11,12 or 16,17 (or soemthing) like that.

(sorry for the vagueness)

What you need to do is remap them in windows

control panel
game conrollers
[select gamepad]
properties

now if you're running the same version as me, you'll see the array of bottons at the bottom of hte window.. I've got mine set up as follows

A = B1, B=B2 X=B3 Y=B4 BL=B7 WH=B8 LT=B5 RT=B6 ST=B9 BK=B10 LS=B11 RS=B12

then I just reconfigured the buttons in the game. This setup is pretty good as start is as it should be, although X and A are mixed up from what you'd expect from the xbox version (menu-wise) (you probs wanna try A=B3 X=B1 to be more like the xbox version).

Eek I just read this and realised it reads like c***, sorry, if you can't get it to work I can re-explain tommorrow when I'm no so tired.

Cheers.

I use an Xbox controller aswell. Here's what to do:

Press Start > Run then type in regedit.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

SYSTEM

ControlSet001

Control

MediaProperties

PrivateProperties

Joystick

OEM

Then click on the folder that has the name of your controller in the right hand screen. It'll probably be the bottom one.

Then right-click on OEMName and click Modify. Change it to Logitech Rumblepad 2 USB.

This makes your right analogue stick work, the only problem is that everytime you restart your computer you have to unplug your controller, rename the OEMName to the original one, re-insert your controller, and then change the OEMName to the Logitech one again.

I use an Xbox controller aswell. Here's what to do:

Do this... go to microsoft website and download the all new driver for the xbox 360 controller. It will fully work in ur game even with rumble support. It's really that easy :jap:

nope. didn't help for me. my drivers are fairly new. Tried re-installing new ones off the MS site and game still doesn't recognize my XBOX 360 controller.

Even though I use an Xbox 1 controller?

Yes lets be clear here, this thread is about XBOX pads not XBOX360 pads

EDIT: Tried editing the reg and didn't get a good result. Still no right analogue stick, and all that did happen was that the buttons where remapped.

why you use a regular xbox controller is strange but ifu have a friend who has a official Pc gamepad not a Ps2/XBOX controller try using that and see if the stick works on that if it doesnt then no idea
