Microsoft has aparrently got some kind of virus on its MSN server and have shut all affected sign in names untill they sort it. But some unafected names still work. If you have another hotmail acount try using that :p.

Yeah, i hate that too! Every day i am trying to talk to someone, i can't because of login in! So, i use ICQ, till the problem, will be done.

Well I got that problem too, I suggest you to have some other one like Yahoo for a back up. I use Yahoo these days. And also msn do have a virus called John Kennedy virus, I don't know if you guys have noticed on your status bar on ur msn window says John Kennedy istead of your friend's nick name. I had that 2 weeks ago and I havn't noticed it. What happened was that I was talking with Phil and that virus send me a file on the same msn window that I was talking to Phil and I thought that was phil and I have accepted it and at the end of the day I had like 27 viruses I had to clean them up. Stupit of me. I just didn't noticed the status bar that the name was John Kennedy instead of suppost to say PhiLLer. Anyway just becareful, don't accept any files unless your friends tell you to. :D :D :D

I had that same log in problem till early last night when it just started working gain and scince then no problems. Also last weekend I got a "Shoot president bush" virus, it was just a little choke virus that was easy to get rid of but everyone seemed to have it and everyone was panicing. Was quite funny coz it was so easy to get rid of.

yeah.. I have everything messed up with my MSN :( :( .. Even my friends are deleted ...I was trying to log in for 3 days and when it entered there was no one on my msn ... :( :( :(

I haven't had any problems loging on to my msn...its starts automatically when my outlook express starts...i don't use it for chat though coz' i think icq is the best way..

Have you been experoenceing problems when signing in recently. I have and it's REALLY P*ssing me off! It just plain won't sign in, due to some problem!

Ive had all the same problems with mine and as have my friends so its pretty clear its completely ****ed up all over the world.

One of my addresses has been deleted and I can't log onto it, but my old one is still working fine and I havn't lost anything on there. So if you want to mail me or chat add "the_lockforward@hotmail.com" now.

And to all the people who have lost all their contacts. I suggest that you use another e-mail address now (even if that means making a new one). Then once you are on there you can find a list of everyone on your contacts on your Outlook Address Book and add everyopne, if that helps.
I know that worked for me and my MSN is fine now.
