Is this early release for UK only?

Got hold of it yesterday, it's a fantastic game.

The reason SI and SEGA decided to release it a few days early in the UK is due to unnamed stores selling advanced copies illegally. Apparently SI and SEGA are taking legal action against said stores but decided to release the game a little earlier to try and combat piracy, and make it a little more fair to the rest of the public.

Yeah, there is a Huge Database option.
Stuffed if I know what it does though, I've only played this game
once, and that was yesterday straight after I got the game.

Why's everone complaining about the number of players in the game, I dont notice any difference on large compared to fm06 tbh. Game looks good

Dissapointed by the Dutch db though. (Again) De Cler, Drost out of contract?? Bosvelt transferlisted, Cocu back-up player, wrong stadium capacities and names (Excelsior's stadium is Stadion Woudenstein for a few years now...), ridiculously high fut transfer fee (Knopper 3.5m and Bosschaart 4.2m to Ado, they dont even have any money irl) Players at wrong teams (Wielaert at NAC instead of Twente, Vayrynen at Celta instead of PSV), Wrong colours for away teams, and this isnt editable yet. A lot of staff missing from PSV and other staff who left still being there. Willem II's assistent is still at his previous club MVV. I could go on a while...

Yeah, the staff at some clubs in Italy are f*cked aswell. For example, Bettega is a scout at Juve... First of all, he doesn't even have a function at Juve right now, and secondly he was managing director at Juve and president of the G14 until this summer. They could've put in a little more effort there...

Fitness coach. Really annoying. You can't assign any other roles to him except those covered by a fitness coach (strength, aerobic.) I just cancelled his contract after he refuses to be put on a different one and signed someone else.

Just bought the game today. First impression: Ajax is as always, heavily underrated again. Mauro has 11 for crossing while that should be atleast 15 same goes for De Mul and Mauro is in the reserve team :S , Wes is average so is Maarten, the Bijlmer boys just plain suck(except for Kenneth), Klaas only has 16 for finishing and I can go on for a while like that. The only one who is heavily overrated is Roger lol.

Get used to it, the Dutch DB is absolute crap. I actually have to agree with you, I improved the stats of various Ajax players. I improved some stats of PSV players too though :p

TD didn't have graphics and stuff like that. They had speedy connection for demo's and patches though, I agree. And still have one of the best FM related board there is on the net.

There is a fix in the editors section of the SI Forums that fixes the Huge database problem.

Apparently SI didnt removed it, rather they hid it from selection. This bloke has made an xml file that fixes that.

It has been tested and it works in the game.
However some comments have been made that the reason it was omitted by SI was that it causes bugs with the regen system. Ive sent of an email to them for some confirmation and elaboration so i'd be wary bout using it until we hear some official comment.

Nah I never used the huge database anyway, never noticed much of a diffrence with the large one TBH.

I used large, huge database would be too slow.

Apparently the difference is quite marked...10's of thousands of players...meh, like i said, i'll wait till i hear back from SI.

Go to Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\data\db\700 and delete the INC folder and out comes the Netherlands.

And the German NT too, and Kahn. Also the J-league data will be kept intact, but still not playable.

J-League data is there, but only a few teams are accessible on the largest database.

Avispa, Ventforet, FC Tokyo, JEF United and those of that ilk are listed but can't be accessed. Same goes for J-League 2 teams as well.

I only see about 6 of the 18 teams that you can actually view. This is this to fill up the spaces in the AFC Champions League I would imagine.

Let's hope this above db fix solves that issue.

Simply trundle over to susie and downlod the "FM2007 Real Comp/Award Names & LNC Fix Final"

No, you'll have to start all over again. Whilst you download that file from Susie you can continue your game.

Actually, you cán continue the game, but everything changed because of the LNC folder would still be wrong.
