I beat Debrecen 7-0, so I said that I wanted my players to play like this every week and they all said I wasn't giving them enough creidt... what the hell...

Not a bug.

The players could feel that despite the trouncing you still never actually praised them and are demanding too much. You simply don't get 7-0 wins every week - and the players recognise this.

The problem with the command ' I want you to play like this every week' is that, its a bit vague and I only really use it when we grind out a win and/or play some good stuff. I also use it, if we come off the end of a bad-run of form.

If we thrash a team 6 or 7, I'll say I'm delighted.

If your team has been underperforming of late and you suddenly get a good win, then the above command is quite apt given the circumstances. The player's therefore respond to the claim and try and understand what they did and evaluate themselves and how it impacted on the game itself. Basically, getting them to hit that winning formula.

agreed with gaijin, how could you demand your players to win by >5 goals on every match?

I dont think the team talks explain enough anout ehat your saying, when i lost by conceding two goals in the last 2 minutes, 1 was clearly offside, i said i 'sympaphise' and my players got confused and concerned.

I think they should either scrap the team talk or make it much more in deph because i dont think it's clear enough at the moment

I agree.

I also get a lot of "Doesn't seem to be listening"

and

When does you team gain a "good level of undestanding"

Bollocks, I expect a 7-0 every week. I'm a high demanding manager.

On the home screen after a match, look at the assistant manager options and ask him for "team talk feedback"

If he says morale is high it's fine.

is there such option to leave all this encouragement psychology bs to the computers? i play to win, not to parent whiners (who deserve the stake).

It does seem like a bug, after a 3-0 win in UEFA cup quarter final I told the team "I want you to play like this in every game" and they were all "angered" and "confused".

"I want you to play like this in every game", how is that not a compliment?
