I´ve seen many postings mentioning that as soon as you create a Direct IP connection, your mouse hangs and the background music keeps playing.
I´ve been waiting for the system to react for about 5 min and nothing happens. DSL and 56k modem connected.
I´ve looked around, and haven´t found an answer. Has anybody had this problem and has been able to solve it?
Please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

No Solution! I think EA might have an update though!

I wouldn't bank on it though - three updates - no fúcking DirectIP working! Yet I can play other games online with a 56k modem. EA really fúcked up Internet play. I can only play with Matchup, and that stinks like fúck (only certain teams to choose from? - fúcking shíte)

Well I tried using the 'network' button, we both see the same intro but as the action starts we're both playing a totally different game!

I dun even go thru' the Internet... I try playing with two PC at my home... via a NAT connection thru' my Linksys Broadband Router... so one is using IP addr 192.168.10.1, the other is 192.168.10.2 ... but it can't work.. only stays at "establishing connection..." and disconnects eventually ... anyone having this problem and any help on this ? greatly appreciate any help or advise on this..
