TheBizkit03 22-10-2006, 05:41:PM Whats happened to this site? for months now its been incredibly slow, havnt they thought of trying to correct it? :boohoo:
Anyone know any other good sites for some new FM 07 goodies
Fernandez 23-10-2006, 08:16:AM They are a great site, so do appreciate the fact that although they are so slow, they are still one of the best sites where FM goodies can be downloaded.
check out my FM2007 starter kit http://www.faqfc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=1370 ... though i can't compare to SUSIE, you might find a few usable files in there
cheers
Zlatan 26-10-2006, 10:13:PM Actually I was quite satisfied with the speed of late, until a few weeks ago when it got very slow again indeed.
curswine 26-10-2006, 10:57:PM Anyone know a guide which shows how to make the downloaded stuff from there to work? I have downloaded and I believe install all to the correct folders (logos to 'Football Manager 2007\data\graphics\pictures\logos...' with all the correct sizes, and other graphics too), but I still get the crappy looking default faces, kits, logos etc. I just don't know what I am doing wrong. Even starting a new game doesn't give me the new features.
I'm a FM n00b (H) probably a simple thing I am doing wrong here...
Aarfy Aardvark 27-10-2006, 12:40:AM Uncheck the box that says 'use skin cache' and tick the one that says 'Always Reload Skin On Confirm'.
Restart the game.

Where Do I install Graphics?
For FM2007 you install everything you add to the game into your User Data folder, you do not need to touch or delete the graphics that come with the game, content in your User Data folder will always override them. By default this is located at:
\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\
For best practise
logos will then go in: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\graphics\pictures\logos
Kits in: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\graphics\pictures\kits
Player Faces in: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\graphics\pictures\players
Skins in: \My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\skins
I've put my graphics in the correct place but they still won't load?
With Football Manager 2007 loaded, goto Preferences -> Display & Sound. Now untick 'Use Skin Cache' and tick 'Always reload skin on confirm' Next click on confirm, if you graphics now show you can put the skin cache back on and turn off always reload skin.
I've moved/can not find my User Data folder?
Goto Preferences -> General. The location of your User Data folder is shown at the bottom, you can also change the location of it or reset it back to the default location.
curswine 27-10-2006, 11:43:AM Just as I thought, something simple I forgot to do, a typical kind of mistake for me, oh well working fine now, hope more full packs of logos kits etc. will be flooding out soon.
Wouldn't it be nice if their was an editting forum here?
PaPaGeorGeo 27-10-2006, 01:08:PM It would be nice if we had some people who did editing, I think i would be fair in saying that the Soccer Gaming FM community is a community of players not editors
curswine 27-10-2006, 01:39:PM People might be encouraged to give editting a try if they know there is a place to show their work on these forums lol
In other words:
These are the main forums I go on and get lost going looking around on new FM websites looking for stuff like guides and downloads.
I'm mainly looking out for full Bundesliga logos and kits.
curswine 30-10-2006, 03:41:PM Your website seems to be experiencing the same problems now. :(
i'd give editing a go, but none of that XML bollocks (H)

I make creased kits when I'm not satisfied by the ones in the packs or to add new ones later in a game when the team changes sponsor.

curswine 30-10-2006, 07:10:PM They look really nice, not sure about the Bolton fantasy though, looks too blue to be them. Where do you post them or do you just keep them for personal use?
Oz_Leeds_Fan 31-10-2006, 05:11:AM Susie is moving, or has moved to a new server to combat the slow downs and errors, so hopefully they are a problem of the past now :)
Fernandez 31-10-2006, 11:26:AM I had made Fulham and WBA face-packs for FM 05 and saved a template. I lost the template and I can't remember how to make them faces again. Ben also used to do facepacks, but I'm unsure if he is doing it currently.
Zlatan 31-10-2006, 01:01:PM I remade the Shady Metallic skin for FM 2006 and the CM legends update. (H)
So much for my contribution to the community. :)
