I'm having a problem starting a new game.
When i start a new game, select leagues and database size, it installs the game. But when the loading has finished, the game just freezes and i cannot add a manager and select a team.
Please help me sort out this problem as it is gettin on my tits lol

had the same problem here. played few weeks with bayern, without any problems. then i wanted to start a new game, chose the league, loading manager shortcuts etc... then peng!! nothing... game freezes every time before the manager creation window.

nothing helped. tried changing preferences, uninstalling, reinstalling the game, registry cleaning, blabla...

then i quick-formated my pc, reinstalled windows & FM07.

now everything's fine :nape:

Jesus H bud...you must love your FM to format ur puter for it...

ah poop, really cant be bothered to reformat my hardrive :(

This may help -

delete the files -

profile0.xml and profile0.set

from the folder-

C:\Documents and Settings\[your user name]\Application Data\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2007\Settings\Version 702

Then start the game

the 'Application Data' folder may be hidden on your PC so need to unhide it.

how do u unhide it?

Open 'My Computer'
From the 'Tools' menu, select 'Folder Options'

In the dialog box, click on the 'View' tab. Then select the 'Show hidden files and folders' radio button.
