View Full Version : Going...
Drinky 28-05-2001, 03:41:PM ...going... gone!
As you might have seen, the SG Charity Auctions have opened for bidding. I'm already leading the bidding for that Olympiakos shirt, but seeing as this is going to a really good cause, Terminally Ill Children, I think its time that some of you out there put your money where your mouths are. Go on. I dare you. Outbid me. Chickens... bock bock bock :)
See the front page at http://www.soccergaming.com for the details.
PhiLLer 28-05-2001, 03:46:PM If it's for charity that's a good thing, I might take a look...did you say we needed money to bid?!...dammit :D
There is also some bidding going on in support of the International PhiLLer foundation(bidding start at 500 quid per item and 98% goes to me
:p )

Phil, what does the International PhiLLer foundation, support?! Mentally ill people? :D ......no wonder it's named after you  ;) :p :D
Mad Dogg 28-05-2001, 09:34:PM Chickens go cluck cluck - BANG!... uuuh sorry I was hungry so I shot it :p :D :p :D
I'd give money for charity but how come it's SG Charity Auction, when it's just a bloody $híte QXL thing...??? Looks like I'd better keep all that money to myself :p
But at my site there is one auction - a signed stretchy, mega-weird lycra Kappa Welsh home jersey signed by yours truly, in typical Mad Max N64 version of FIFA 99 piss-taking giveaway fashion...
Bidding starts at 10 bob... (that's 50 pence to all you young'uns out there)!
Drinky 28-05-2001, 09:56:PM Will your signature wash off? If so, consider a bid of £1 placed. :)
Can't stop the rush... 28-05-2001, 09:56:PM Originally posted by PhiLLer:

What does or who does the 2% remaning go to??
Just wondering.... :D lol
Can't stop the rush... 28-05-2001, 09:59:PM As for the soccergaming auction, I think i'll go bid on something. :)
Mad Dogg 28-05-2001, 10:04:PM I wuz joking of course!!!
Who'd want to buy a piece of Taffy ****...???
Erm, me, Andy, and a load of other Welsh guyz... :p
Just thought I'd do another good $G pisstake!
Drinky 28-05-2001, 10:11:PM Well, you could always put your money where your mouth is - you get a replica shirt\joystick\voicey-thing for the ultra-low price of £10 (at current bidding), and some terminally ill children somewhere get some extra cash - what could be better? :)
Mad Dogg 28-05-2001, 10:18:PM Last time I put my money where my mouth is I got a papercut and the word "Ten Pounds" imprinted on my bottom lip...
I got everything I want because everything up for grabs I've more or less got anyway (cos I spend my money on decent stuff). But I'll give £50 to charity - outside of this auction!
kingcasey 28-05-2001, 10:33:PM Well I'd take part, but the currency exchange rate these days...
Matt Holme 29-05-2001, 12:45:AM Just to let you all know, I am supplying these items. They are currently sitting in the cupboard here in my office and I will send them to the highest bidder at the end of the 7 days free of charge. No matter where you are in the world.
They are all brand new and never been opened. The Sidewinders are still in their boxes with the wrapper on them and the Olympiakos shirt is still in its plastic wrapper.
Currently the highest bid for the Olympiakos Official Team Shirt is only £10. And the Sidewinders still don't even had a bid (reserve price is £8). So if you are quick, you could buy a brand new Sidewinder Joystick (normally sells for £19) or Game Voice (normally sells for £44) for as low as £8!!! That is an incredible offer! Anyone can bid, and it ALL goes to charity! So c'mon guy's chip-in and help your favourite charity while also grabbing an awesome bargain.
Head for www.soccergaming.com (http://www.soccergaming.com) and follow the links to the QXL page and place a bid.
Dhruv 29-05-2001, 06:40:AM SIDEWINDER 19$ (SORRY Pounds!)Thats too much for it
can you tell me how much would it be in dollars and then i can convert those dollars into indian rupees...
Matt Holme 29-05-2001, 09:49:AM I got the £19 price from www.microsoft.co.uk (http://www.microsoft.co.uk)
My apologies if that isn't the current price. But surely we must all agree that £8 is one hell of a bargain. And it's for a good cause.
