Its OK but should be better. We are blessed with 2 reasonably good footie games in PES6 and FIFA07 though so I play them both.

I think I have to play some more games to get used to it. I already played about 10-12 games, but I find the gameplay a bit strange. I find it difficult to dribble players with the keyboard and one-on-one's more often than not end up being blocked by the goalkeeper. Even though I have scored some screamers, I find the shooting system a bit awkward - to say the least. I find it very easy to score from crosses, which is quite worrying. I will be a bit cautious before claiming that PES6 is better than PES5. Right now, I prefer PES5 - although the same thing happened when I first got my hands on PES5 (I preferred PES4 to PES5).

I have a Thrustmaster controller from a couple of years ago. Maybe I'll give it a go. Let's see if it's better like this....

much better than the previous games no doubt. I'm only having problems with defending... the computer seems to be able to run around me and I can't do anything about it. I push him but never manage to get the ball and he just twists and turns until he gets by me somehow.

indeed defending is one of the hardest aspects in this game.you have to practice very much and learn not to tap the x button at whatever moment :jambo: .defending is even harder when you have a slow defender who is one on one against super human freakshows such as henry,eto'o,roni,ect.... i'm lucky to have WALLS such as the Thuram and Puyol duo :rockman: :rockman: :rockman: .they are probally not the fastest but are very physical and have excellent positioning.but even having such defenders, defending still is mega hard.

It's freakin hard yeah...i try not to tap the x button but what happens is that they either just manage to run around me still or they go right through me and my player doesn't grab the ball :| I am playing with portsmouth though...but you'd think that at least Sol Campbell would be half decent! I've also found that it's easier to defend with only 3 at the back. If I have 4, my wing players keep disappearing and the CB are never in position

yes gameplay is nice...pes5 gameplay is terrible if I compare pes6...as for me it seems pes3 come back with some improvement...

However other stuff is still awful...I mention to garphic & masterleague etc.
Always I say that God bless patchmakers...if they did not patch the game, I would not love so much the game...

even I dont wanna think that playing game konami ******* default grey turfs and poor kits...
