I've been playing fifa since the first release (fifa 95?). In my opinion, the only three great editions were '96, '98 and world cup 98.

In '96, you were able to controll all aspects of shooting (the power as well as the curve). Why isn't that possible anymore? Now, you just press a button and hope that the right player will get the ball.

In the last two versions of the game, less controll and less moves became available. I find this very annoying and I can't understand why EA leaves it's most loyal players (and buyers) standing in the cold.
