Hello guys. I have recently started to edit my FIFA 07 and here is what I have added so far -

Controller patch
Ambient Sound patch
Chelsea Home , Away and Goalkeeper Kits in 2G format
Liverpool Home, Away and Keeper Kits in 2G format
Adidas Goalkeeper Fingersave Gloves
Generic Premiership Adboards – ID2

I hasten to add, no roster updates and nothing else. My problem is that if I play Chelsea against Liverpool, it crashes back to Desktop. Why is this? It does not happen if I play just one of my patched teams at Stamford Bridge or if I play with the same teams at other stadiums. Can anyone tell me what the problem might be? Many thanks.

this is because the game has a certain amount of memory to use, and with so many 2g graphics (kits, faces, gloves, adborads) and in such a big stadium, that amount is overpassed
so, what you could try to do first is importing 1gk for keepers, if it still crashes, try 1ga adboards, and that would make it

Is there any way around it as I want the full editing experience in the game? If not, how is it possible to patch my entire game without it crashing? What have you guys opted for as your setup - IE do you place more importance on quality kits/ads/pitches/boots etc??

to me, pitches, adboards and gk kits are no THAT important, so could be in 1g graphics or not even edited
i don't think there is other way

Hi,

I think your issue lies with the 2g Keeper kits. Reduce those to 1G as Slowhand suggested and I think you'll be fine.

Good Luck

Will try This thanks....By the way, is there a way to reduce say a 2G kit file to a 1G format. How would I do this?

as easy as reducing 768x768 kits to 512x512 with any image editing utility/tool (eg, photoshop, corell, paint shop pro, gimp, paint, etc)

if you don't have such a program do it with kitnaster 627.

2g graphics aren't that important. If kits, adboards etc look good, they also look good in 1g.
