I have one question for you, is the PC version of fifa2001 as good as the playstation 2 version. I got madden 2001 for the pc and it is not as good as the ps2 version. The graphics and moves are better in the ps2 than pc. I think ea put more emphasis in making the ps2 games better than the other formats cuz the playstation is coming out. I just think, in my experience of already playing madde2k1, and seeing the ps2 version of it, the ps2 is better than the pc. I dont know if this is the case for fifa2001!!!

The PS2 version might be better, as all PS2s have the same hardware. PC games have to run on all systems, and that means they have to run on an 166 with 16 mb. Unless EA release different versions of FIFA for different spec machines, the Playstation 2 version could be a tiny, minute bit better than the PC version on a high-end system.

I disagree with the previous message, have you seen the requirements for the new games even fifa 2000 there is no way you could run it on a **@((@ 133.

And anyway PS2 is new so the designers of the games do not know everything they can do on the machine.

For your motion quality on FIfa2000 what Graphics card do you have, cause you can download patches that improve the frame motion.

A 133 or 166 was maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but PC games still have to be designed for a number of different systems.Things like memory, hard disk space, and graphics card capability all have to be considered. I agree that the PS2 is very new and little is known at the moment about it's maximum capabilities. All we can hope for is a game that looks as good on (any system or console) as all the screenshots and movies we have seen, and gameplay equal to, or better than, ISS.
