when the winger at the base line, try to find a very suitable height (subject to where your striker is)...after he cross the ball...keep tapping the shoot button and i tried 3 -4 times Drogba jumped high and use header....but still not strong enough to score

any tips and sharing or post some video that you use hearder to score??

also can I control/ move the receiver player to catch the crossing ball like super cancel in Winning eleven..??? anyone know?
cuz in FIFA07 ps2 version, i use the right stick and i can feel it hleps to move the receiver player to move to a better location to catch the cross and head the ball......

Headers weren't programmed correctly. No matter how much you try it won't be as realistic and good as they should. This is one of the many faults EA has to fix next year. As fun as it is, I keep finding problems every time I play. The more I play, the more flaws become apparent. It is a very very sloppy game. On a more superficial point, that crowd and stadiums look really bad. This is inexcusable for next gen. I thought Fifa was known for knockout graphics! after playing Gears of War, I noticed how much more work EA has to do in Fifa.....Get to work FIFA! (N)

yes agree...we dont want to see robots sitting on the stadiumm moving at the same direction/ also stadiums i think are just ok but still a long way to say its great..e.g. where is the adv board at the higner stand? some flood lights have no effect when u see Old Talford etc etc.....compare the stadium that they created in Madden game....far more details and rich in color

I do agree that headersweren't programmed correctly but lately I have been a heading fool, I have headed on goal kicks, I have intercepted crosses when the computer is trying to switch sides with headres and I have scored 2 goals with headers and had many more chances, even seen a few skip over the bar.

As far as graphics, I use to say the same thing about the stadiums but more and more I am starting to notice more detail, however the crowds do need to be changed. I really wish FIFA would look at NHL O7, MADDEN and NBA Live, and see how better textures can really bring out this game graphically

haha guys i start to do more header and I can feel that it's not easy to make it but when u make the chance with the ball high enough above the player and u press the shoot button in a right moment (imo , i hit it more than once, usually 2-4 times) then u will make it.
I use Kewell (liverpool) and he jumped high and head the ball to the net......
still havent tried with the header fly over the cross bar......
anyway feel better now although the header action is not as strong as winning 11 but still okay at this moment
hope fifa can tune it up at 08.

hey 1 more reminder is the players jumped at his own position (e.g. vertically) not run to a jump and hit the ball......so thats why the chance of header is rare.
so dont expect they will jump forward and hit the ball...mostly as i tried they only jump vertically..thats the small tips i guess

Stadiums suk! Bernabeu is the worse Bernabeu I've seen in videogames. Where are the marca ads? Why is the North and South stands soooo behind the goals??? And, why is the bench empty? Why does it seem that in night games, it looks like close spotlights are illuminating as oppose to flood lights 200 ft. high? Why so many jaggies? Can't antialias in next gen? I won't even start on the crowds! They are awful. Fifa feels crowds are not important. Why is the Bernabeu crowd still singing "Campeones, campeones, oleoleoleeee....."? (Old chants from 2003) We haven't won anything in some time to be singing campeones.... Why do players come off the bench sweating? Do they have the flu? Why are their shorts dirty? They east McDonald's? Why Why Why??? As fun as I find the game, I also find it to be very half @ssed!

i am trying to think the reason why they set the crowd far away from the goal is to get them away from the camera so they they can save some "moving object" memories to avoid "slow-down" of the game..not sure whether its necessary for the next gen console........
anyway ya its fun but need more improvement just like if they can provide the same as they can for the ps2 version...that will be a way better for sure.
