View Full Version : Mexican League and more National Teams
ManU2000 19-09-2000, 03:54:AM Fifa 2001 should have the Mexican league on it. I mean, if they put on the Israeli League, why not the Mexican league ? Also, the should have more national teams on it. Teams such as Uruguay, Bolivia, Finland, and Portugal. It would be cool as well to have the World Cup eliminatory rounds that take place before the World Cup.
birdmanjose 20-09-2000, 12:31:AM I agree, Mexico should have a league in FIFA 2001, because even Israel has one. Im not saying Israel is a bad country in soccer, but Mexico has one of the worlds best league
and I think they should be recognized in this game and in the future games too.
TommyBoy 20-09-2000, 03:55:AM i think for fifa 2002 they should put in like 30 leagues from everywhere and at least 100 international teams, that'll be cool, but they wouldent have enough time i guess so they should just put the slovak league in then with the rest of 'em
Master_Chiva 20-09-2000, 04:20:AM I am mexican and obviously I want my league in the game, but so does everyone else. Why not make an editor for stadiums, jerseys or leagues such as the ones in games like Half Life or Unreal?. Let's face it, EA will not put 100 leagues in the game, and their in-game editing tools have been crappy at best. I have been a fan of the FIFA series since the Genesis era, but I did not buy FIFA 2K because in my opinion it was the biggest, most disappointing piece of crap ever created. FIFA 99 was great and RTWC was even better, SO PLEASE EA HEAD IN THAT DIRECTION! Too bad the PC market does not have any other worthy football games, or else I would have jumped the boat. Guys, just get back to the basics, a hell of a lot better gameplay and an editor are musts! Please EA, don't make me diss your game again...It has been painful enough to stop playing for a whole year, I don't want to make it two in a row!
I just think the football crowd always gets left out because your other games are awsome and that sucks because we are the ones that put you in the Guinness World Records! WE DESERVE SOME FREAKIN' RESPECT, GASH DARN IT!

TommyBoy 20-09-2000, 04:28:AM exactly , they should put soem ****in editors (wich are easy to use for wankers like myself)in , perfect idea chiva, if i had a hat ide take it off to you.
Master_Chiva 20-09-2000, 05:01:AM Thanks for the support Tommy, hopefully EA will listen to us. If they want to make the editor as an add-on expantion pack, fine, I would buy it either way.
TommyBoy 20-09-2000, 05:10:AM yeah ide buy it too.
if they dont do that next year ill drive down to van city and kick then in the dicks!
Ruben Sosa 21-09-2000, 09:56:AM URUGUAY ISN'T IN IT!!! HOW CAN THAT BE WHERE ON THE TOP 50 AND WE ARN'T INCLUDED!!! THAT JUST GOES TO SHOW THAT EA DOESN'T KNOW THAT SOCCER IS A WORLD SPORT NO EUROPEAN, WORLD. AND IF YOU AREN'T ENGLISH THEY ASUME YOU INDIANS (no offence) LIVING IN VILLAGES AND DIRT ROADS. UP YOURS EA!
the little magician 22-09-2000, 11:57:PM EA doesnt care whether your team is 200th or 50th the piont is they either put in teams they think would be easiest to put in or they put in the team of the Biggest Countries.
Uraguay is in thew top 50 and Canada is near 100th but out of 50 teams they put in Canada.
Dont bother asking them to put it in, just hope than Fifa Editor 2001 comes out and you can change it yourself.
Trinidad and Tobago is ranked 29th but they dont put us in because we're a small country but they dont look at who's a footballing nation, Our national sport is football and we have a league and plenty foreign based players making leaps and bounds for themselves, Canada has none of these and the result shows, 2-0 in Edmonton, 4-0 in Port of Spain, Both t&t wins
But when the game comes out then you will see Canada, but no Trinidad and tobago, maybe you'll be lucky and get Uraguay.
Ruben Sosa 23-09-2000, 04:59:PM Yeah but beyond the fact that Uruguay is in the top 50, we have gone very far on competitions, aperantly to EA only the WC and EURO Cup are inportant we have reached top 4 out of 5 competitions we where in:
WYC Sub-20 Runner Up 1997
Copa America Runner Up 1999
WYC Sub-20 4th Place 1999
Olimpics Qual. 4th place 2000
WYC Sub-17 Quaterfinalists 1999/2000
