Does anyone think it would be good to play as a single player within Fifa? ie: Control a single player for the whole game. Is there a patch for stopping the CPU giving you control of the player who has the ball, allowing you to move into space and request the ball? (Perhaps one for EA to think about, sort of career mode !) I would prefer EA to do this as the quality of the sim would be guaranteed.

that would be sweet, ide be down for some career mode with that.

Fine idea!I've been wanting to say this for lots of time!I think that in on game once in pcs(a stupid Euro 96 game i think)this option was available.It would be great to have this done!Im also imagining in 5 or 6 years a multiplayer game like this!

I've said time and time again if EA added all the fetures from NHL2000 series we would be able to pick any player to play the whole game with.
They added the thing I kind of want like rotating adboards and linesmen. All they need is a stadium builder like FA Manger2000 and create player from all the other EA games.
