A Fifa game takes up what 1/3 of a CD. Why not cram as much of what people want into the game as you can. If it takes a little longer for its release, id rather wait for a Sweet Dutch Apple Pie of a product rather than the trash we have been getting since after Fifa 99. I know by secumbing to all our wishes this might leave you guys strapped for ideas for the next Fifa release but you never know when inspiration will strike http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gifJust get out of this slump already will ya??!

From playing the game from its early SNES days to the current Euro 2000. Its starting to feel as if you take away one flaw but put back 2 more. Here are improvements that i beleive you NEED to pump into this great game;

1) Varying pitch sizes acording to actual footballing grounds - (Aresnals little pitch compared to Barca's huge ground). This way you can keep most Fifa punters happy and it might add variety and differing skill strategys to your game.

2) An advanced powerfull but http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif easy to use league/team/tourney/player editor.Or why not release official league addon patches. This probably wont elviate the problem of missing leagues and teams due to commentary and overwriting of existing data so the other option would be to just more leagues dammit http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif It is a GLOBAL game so i guess you do have your work cut out for you there.

3) More advanced and improved gameplay - what im talking about here is of course the AI and Control Syste,s. What we want to see from AI is (and always will be) smarter and more realistic minded computer opponents and team mates (stratigic subs,smart sweeper play, soaring wingback runs,fumbling goalies,panicing clearences,underpressure pathetic misses at goal). Now with control i would love to see us be able to edit our controllers (namley the excellent sidewinder GAMEPAD that was just MADE for this game - with its 2nd player plugin ports ahhh anyway), more advanced moves requiring more technicaly advanced button mashing. Holding down L1 while pressing A = a throughball lob. YES! a throughball lob. that sort of thing.

4) Pumping longer gaming life elements into Fifa. By this i mean , even though the season mode is pretty cool and all.. one season and your kinda done. And that takes what ... 2 days nonstop pounding? So why not add a more advanced season system like most of the other EA games currently around namley (NHL 2000). <-- actually you could learn alot about game longevity threw NHL. Realistic transfer market, able to put your self in as a rookie (with commentary), all star games, realistic player statsitics threw season to season .. key word = realistic http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif I guess this is down to AI http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif again.

and last of all..
5). Atmosphere and all round gaming experience. Varying game speeds from SLOWER THAN PHIL NEVILLE CLEARING THE BALL/EXTRA SLOW/SLOW/NORMAL/FAST, TV like game introductions, big game hype and atmosphere, crowd jeers when you miss at goal (EEEEEOOOORREEE!!) http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif Players rolling around after a nasty clobbering but play continues, adding controler user STATS so you can see how much you RULE. better end game cut sences - team photo. i could go on for a while .. but you get the picture.

Cyas later.
PS. I too am not a bench player but a LEFT WINGER CAPTIN. http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif
