No Matter what I do I cant get PESFan editor to work, and I have the latest version of Java, and I've tried renaming the jar file, but nothing.


Is there some little trick I'm missing, or is there an alternative to PFE?

I had a similar problem;PESFan Editor freezing while loading;If I remember correctly I just uninstalled Java Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 9 and it is working again.

I had the same problem so I did this : I uninstalled all my java platform, updates included.
Then I re installed the basic Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6 and the update 9 ( J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 update 9 ) and it worked.
In the meantime the new update 10 has been installed too and my editor works perfect.

So what version of Java were you using

I was using J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 9;I uninstalled Update 9;now using update 5;as far as I know,you can uninstall updates separately.

Or you can follow the instructions of Jomi;uninstalling everything and re-installing again;I didn't do that 'cause my problem was solved.I don't really care which Java update I'm running as long as I have a running PESFan Editor.

Thanks for the help, I finally got it to work.

Yep PESFAN editor won't run with Update 9. I used it with Update 5 and update 6 succesfully.
