What do you think of this team? At the beggining of the season, everybody, thought, that they will have to fight with relegation, but they have played just 3 games and got 9 points from it (5-0 with Liecester City, 1-0 with Middlesbrough and now 2-1 with Liverpool!!!!!) I think, that this guys will be like Ipswich last year and maybe they will play in CL!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: . However it's just a beggining of the season and it's too early to make decision.

but they have played against 2 teams that are relegation contenders (boro and leciester) and against a crap goalie westerveld

like you said it is abit early in the season but good look to them

Bolton have got away to a great start to the season .. but give it about 12 matches and then see how they are placed, if they have no class in there team\squad depth, they will struggle as the season goes on, but at the moment they seem to be at full octane and firing ok ... Ned

I think they play well as a team. The acqusition of Dane Per Frandsen from Danish super league team Silkeborg and a host of great players such as Finnish keeper Jääskeläinen and Dean Holdsworth are the keys to Bolton's success in my opinion. Bolton are made to be a team. Usually small teams with little resources concentrate on making a team which is great large teams usually make the mistake of buying good players that don't form a winning team. *cough* *cough* Real Madrid
It's too early in the year to say how Bolton will do I remember a few years ago Blackburn had a good start to the season but later failed to continue their good form. Time will tell if Bolton can remain at the top. They look to be a class club.

Westerveld's mistake cost Liverpool the game. I really can't understand how a world class goalkeeper can make such a mistake. But we all make mistakes sometimes even BIG ones.

It's way to early to say Bolton will do what Ipswich did last season.Sure their off to a dream start but a few years back Charlton were off to a similar start and ended up getting relegated.

Bolton have started well but I'll wait for Christmas to make any predicitons, thats when it all takes off

I really like their Rickets guy.. Has got superstar potential, he reminds me of Heskey (and that is NOT because he is black).. Similar styles of games.

small clubs tend to start well. Sunderland, Ipswich, and now Bolton. But don't worry; they won't be anywhere close to winning the title, IMO. Big clubs start poorly at the beginning, and small clubs tend tos tart surprisingly, but look what happened last year to Leicester.. or to Sunderland a year earlier. Or to Atalanta from the Serie A. Or to Bastia from the French league. Manu will catch them as well as Arsenal and Liverpool and Chelsea...

well I think we can all stand up and applaud the Wanderers for the great to their season.

Bolton is very impressive so far I'll have to say but the win against Liverpool was a lucky one thanx to poor Westerveld :(
