I've got the full version of FIFA 2001 installed on my CPU and I have Windows ME as my OS. When I try to start the game I get this message telling me that "FIFA 2001 was not installed properly. Please re-install" when running fifa2001.exe. I do this but still I get the same message. When I run FIFA 2001_EX.exe in the Support folder and check the System requirements it tells me that I don't have either Windows 95 or 98 and that is supposed to be the reason. Everything else is checked of as functional.
What do I have to do to make it work??

Or rather, when I ran FIFA 2001_EZ.exe it claimed that my OS wasn't compatible with the game and claimed that I had Windows 98 and said this wouldn't work even though I had above the minimum requirements...
Something's rotten in the company of EA...
That is so weird, because I have Win ME and the game runs gorgeous...Good luck, man...
It does run under WinME
The prob is not with EA, i can tell you have the warez version. the full version does not do this, u r doing something wrong which is why it is not working (I encountered the same prob as you at first)

OK, you got me. So what's the problem? What do I have to do? I'd be very grateful if you could tell me since the game doesn't come out here for another two weeks.

you need to get the cracked exe file in the fifa dir that you have in the warez version.
over write the old one.

Thanx a lot! I've got the game going now but I don't have time to play now but thanx a lot for the help. If the game turns out to be worth the money I'll buy it when it comes out.
