ugh, I was at the game today.. typical TFC game, we had sooo much possession but always tried to be too fancy and passed the ball around needlessly. not gonna lie, the ref was pretty bad and we got a lot of lucky calls for us, and even then we couldn't find the winner. the post near the end and the goal-line scramble that ensued almost gave me a heart attack, then Edu missing that half-breakaway... ugh :(

I am looking to get Setanta Sports and was wondering how good is it coverage wise for English,Italian, Spanish leagues and Champions League.Anything else will be a nice bonus. I had a preview of it but could not watch it for more than a few days as I didn't realise it was there and I came to know about it too late :(

Setanta shows English and French footy. I'm not sure about CL as I'm usually at work for the mid-week matches.

NO!!! There is a definite structure to what games those 3 channels show:

TSN, and TSN2, show Champions League games on Tues and Wed. Replays are shown at midnight EST on TSN. Not sure about when or if TSN2 shows replays.

Sportsnet shows one EPL game on Sat. morning at 10:00 a.m. Sportsnet shows the "Setanta Sports Game of the Day" on Sat evenings at 7:00 p.m.

The Score shows one of the two EPL games on Sundays, at 11:00 a.m..

As for your Setanta Sports, they show EPL, CL and French Ligue 1 games, as well as some Scottish League games and some Coca-Cola Championship games. They do not show any Italian or Spanish League games. FSW Canada shows the Italian League, GOL TV shows the Spanish and German Leagues and some other channel(I don't know the name) shows Portuguese League games.

@newbie: I was referring to the randomness of their choice of matches that they show, not the time at which it is broadcast. Its a good coverage in the sense that they don't care much about football and we should be happy they show these few games.

Barrett scored a really nice goal last night against the Limp Act.

I had 2 free tickets for last night's game waiting for me at some bar but didn't end up going... To think I could have seen Barrett score a decent goal against those French ****s.
