I'm trying to figure out how to edit the misc16 file, but everything I import looks like a technicolour blob once it's in the misc16 file. EA Graph is telling me that the target uses a global palette, etc, etc, so how do I edit/remove/change the global palette in order to maintain the integrity of the image that I've imported? Thanks.

I believe that once you have made the fsh file you need to go tool palette workbench press the save to file button. save as pal then close. This saves the color palette of the image and then you see a preview of it before saving the changes.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, when I import anything into the globally-paletted misc 16 file, I don't have access to the "save to file" button (it's greyed-out). I'm still not sure how to get around this.

Hello,
no, it doesn't help to save the palette to a file. That's a problem of EAGraph 0.90 and newer, these versions of EAGraph aren't able to handle the fsh files with global palette. You may try to edit the fsh with EAGraph 0.88 (you have to change the system time of your PC a few months back to make the version 0.88 working), it works good (i already made four different TV logos and everything works good)
but remember! once you edit misc16.fsh with EAGraph 0.90 and newer, you will never be able to import the images with correct palettes. you have to use EAGraph 0.88 and start with original version of misc16.fsh from your FIFA 2001 CD-ROM

Okay thanks. That's certainly a wierd design concept by the EA Graph creator. I will try and find version .88 and give it a try. Thanks again.
