View Full Version : Entire FIFA Player Database

Hello All,

I'm currently working on a roster update that will include each and every player in the FIFA databases from 2003-2007 (including WC, Champ's League, Euro, etc.). The DB is complete through 2004 with only 2003 to add. The goal in mind is to number each player according to the most recently assigned EA db number so that there is some uniformity to all the patches circulating out there.

There are currently about 24,000 records (excluding youth players and my add-ins). As a result, the DB is fairly large at about 3.3 megs; if there is a call I will attempt an upload somewhere.

Anyone interested in potentially using this database for a patch? If so, please just leave a reply here and we'll see what's up.

I would mind checking it out. Sounds Good.

I would use it becuase the squad that started the season has chnaged a little and we have quite a few young players joined us.

Hey fellas,

There's been a medical emergency in my family, and I'm probably going to need until after this weekend to finish the DB. I apologize for the delay, but in the mean time, this is version in about 90% complete:

Don't forget that there maybe players which have two ids, one from Euros/WC's the other from UCL ;)

Hello,

Robbie, the dups have all been taken care of.

The player numbers run like this: the most recently EA-assigned number for a given player is used with actual FIFA releases (ex. 2006, 2007) taking precedence over the Champ's League, Euro and WC games. 2007 was used as the base file for comparison purposes.

Added players not already in a FIFA db start at the number 300001. Whenever possible previously EA-assigned numbers were used for the teamid of any added teams that had already appeared in the FIFA series (ex. CSKA Moscow is team 315 and Dynamo Kyiv 101047). Just as with the players, the most recently EA-assigned number was used for each added team when applicable.

Here is a link for all the team number assignements used in the FIFA series to this point (Excel format):

http://files.filefront.com/FIFA_Teamszip/;6649988;;/fileinfo.html

At this point, the DB is currently updated for all the added teams (with the exception of Nautico, America-RN, and Sport Recife; this due to the traditionally heavy roster activity this time of year in the land of the samba). All transfers for the current window have been completed through Wednesday, the 24th. Currently, I am adding Togo and Trinidad, and plan to update the teams league by league after the official close of the transfer window.

Please feel free to contact me with any suggestions, constructive criticism, etc. (no complaints, please).

hmm, just to let you know that, for example, Laizans and Semberas (both in CSKA in UCL 04/05) had commentary under thier UCL ids, commentary which was carried over into subsequent FIFA's ;)

Oh also, the FIFA series still uses the older ids like 100601 for Luxembourg and 1050xx for teams like Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, San Marino & the Netherlands by default, so it might be better to have these teams given these id's instead of the WC ones.

Ah here's a list of team id's that may help:
1326 - Bosnia
1340 - Hungary
1347 - Luxembourg
1348 - Macedonia (FYR of)
1351 - N. Ireland
1358 - San Marino

1368 - Yugoslavia (which became: 110082 - Serbia/Montenegro in Euro 2004 and now Serbia in FIFA 07)

1376 - Peru

1409 - Iran

btw all these id's came from FIFA 2002 so if you have that you can look them up in there, as there's a .fsh file for every confederation which has all the teams sorted by the then id, much easier to use than the random assignment in WC 2006.

Nice team list btw ;) (Y) :rockman:

Oh and 1 more thing, won't you be needing art files for all these teams that u plan to add?

gonzo99
30-01-2007, 08:23:PM
Hello,

Most of the art has been collected from various games, patches, etc. However, banners for the added international teams are still needed:

1342 Israel
1360 Slovakia
1411 Japan
1667 Senegal
105035 Netherlands
111108 Peru
111109 Colombia
111111 Morocco
111112 Côte d'Ivoire
111114 Saudi Arabia
111115 Iran
111149 Angola
111459 Chile
111462 Ghana
111481 Jamaica
111483 Togo
111484 Trinidad & Tabago

I don't have WC 2002, so thanks for the info, Robbie. Also, do you know of any other players like Semberas? If so, please let me know.

RobbieD_PL
30-01-2007, 09:06:PM
Hmm, if you need banner you can use the ones from Euro 2004 :bob:

Oh btw it's FIFA 2002, not WC 2002, that had the qualification stages sort of a RTWC bersion, and thus all the ids

The backgrounds for the CAF, AFC, CONCACAF, & COMNEBOL teams aren't available in Euro 2004 for the obvious reason that they're not in Europe. With a template found online, these have been created.

2003 players will be put off until the transfers from the last month have been updated. More or less all of the "missing" players from that game are retired at this point, so their inclusion isn't as vital.

Currently, I am working to add the 2007 J-league to the potential patch.

Hey there,

Egypt has been added to the db. The rosters for EPL, La Liga, and the Brasiliero are done and I may release this for anyone who is interested. Right now, the patch doesn't work with the CreationCentre. Hopefully, that will be rectified shortly.

Please be patient, it'll be worth it.

Hey everyone,

I'm going to try and get a premilnary version of the patch out there by this coming Monday (the 26th). It will include the added teams as well as updates for the EPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, and Serie A.

If I can complete the work sooner, I post a link. In any case, they're will definately be one on Monday.

Hello Everyone,

Here is the link for the lastest work I've done:

http://files.filefront.com/Gonzos_Patchzip/;6815978;;/fileinfo.html

The Patch will work with both CreationMaster and CreationCentre, but you will have to install a fresh version of FIFA in order for it to work properly. The EPL and La Liga have been fully updated, while Serie A is about half-done (I didn't have the anticipated free time this past weekend). Also, the J-League teams are "shells" at present as there was some trouble with the data on the players. Those teams will be redone ASAP.

Other than that, everything should work just fine. Please let me know if there are any issues.

gonzo99
26-02-2007, 08:14:PM
One more thing: I'm working on adding the missing commentary to the patch as well (in a separate download).

Finally, the patch is available in English only. Sorry guys!

Great work on the database, and I put on a fresh install to use it. I tried to add the San Marino national team as I have a softish spot for them. However, FIFA 07 crashes just as it loads a match with San Marino selected.

Is there an issue with adding teams to your data?

I did a test yesterday adding Holland to my own data, only with kits from the 'Net and no other things like mini kits or badges. I did that also for San Marino, there's no reason that I can think of why it won't load. I assigned a squad to them in CM and made sure they had the squad filled.

gonzo99
05-03-2007, 08:53:PM
Hey there,

In answer to the preceeding post, I'm not sure why the team wouldn't work, man. With the exception of Access editing, the CM is the program I've used to build the teams, etc. I actually added Egypt after the initial DB was completed without any issues as far as game play.

I had an issue with the J-League teams, but that was sillyness on my part (duplicated players #'s etc.) The only team that I did have trouble adding was CSKA, but I was able to distill that down to a pesky face texture I had imported for one of the squad members.

Since the majority of the players from San Marino don't have custom faces, that's obviously not the issue. We can also rule out .fat regeneration being the problem since you used CM and that's done automatically. I've rechecked the db to rule out duplicate players numbers. The missing badge, minikits, etc. shouldn't cause that kind of a problem either. It's not likely the kits would cause the game to crash either, so I'm really at a loss to explain why the game's crashing on you.

Sorry I wasn't able to provide the solution, man.

An Update:

Serie A rosters are done and the Bundesliga should be done by Tuesday or Wednesday. After that it's Ligue 1, a reconstrution of the J-Leauge, and then a visit over here to the Americas for updates to the Primera, Brasiliero, and MLS.

Ultimately, I would like to update every team, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew, as it were, so we'll just have to see what unfolds.

Yes, I'll definately release the J-League. I've been a little sidetracked of late, but will finish J-1 within a week, week and a half. I'm building the league rosters more or less from the bottom up, so it's taking a little time to make sure I get the postions, etc., correct. I think/hope that I've got that worked out.

Sooner or later, I'll have an MLS update, hopefully Mexico and Brazil as well - Brazil in late May after the Brasiliero starts. I haven't finished Ligue 1 or the Eredivisie as yet either, but I plan to get to them.

Hello,

The J-League is half-done. So, I should have something out by mid- to late-next week.

Also, if you renumber a player to their original EA player number the face will already be loaded into the game if the player previously had an EA-designed face. For example, Ono's original player number is 29118. (You have to use access to edit the player number in this case). There is already a face in the game for him. Same with Batistuta, Guardiola, David SEaman, and a bunch of others.:mrpimp:

Gonzo, where can i find Guardiola, Batistuta, Djorkaeff and other retired players????

Hola,

To "find" the retired players what you need to do is access an older FIFA db to retrieve the players old FIFA playerid. Then you use the UniDB to open you the FIFA 2007 db and a player record with the ID from the older version of FIFA (i.e. David Seaman is playerid 1) via Microsoft Access (or some comparable program). Save your work and reimport the access file into your FIFA 2007 db using UniDB. That's pretty much the skinny.

If that's too much you can always download my updated which will be up before the end of this weekend.

An additional note: I have about 4 more teams to edit to complete the J-League. The Mexican league has been updated and MLS is more than half-done. By the end of this weekend, end of next week at the latest, the links will be on this thread.

Hey there,

No, man, there should be no problem if you don't use the db. The .db file has the player/team info contained within it, so by using that file you would just be updating the information already in the game. If you skip the .db file, then just import the league w/CM07 selecting the add function.

Hopefully that will help.

A word: the rosters for many of the teams aren't finalized with the league, as such some players are without an updated appearance.

I am trying to import this file and it crashes my game on loading. I am using the Career Expansion Pack v4 and I just want toronto FC in the existing MLS league. is this possible?
