View Full Version : What is your all-time favourite football song?
Mishkin 29-08-2001, 02:17:PM I don't think this poll has been done yet but anyway, what is everyone's all-time favourite football song?
My all-time favourite would have to be 'Carnival De Paris' from France 98. I think it has a catchy tune.
Lets see how many votes we get for a certain song and we can name the ultimate all-time favourite football song.
PhiLLer 29-08-2001, 02:21:PM Yup, I would agree on that one....how about then awful FA Cup final songs :D
the fa cup songs are terrible espeicially the Man UTD ones
ShearerM4 29-08-2001, 03:29:PM The all time Football tune
has to be
"You'll never walk alone"
by Gerry & the Pacemakers
It holds so much
PhiLLer 29-08-2001, 03:37:PM Manutd song werent too bad compared to the Hoddle Waddle one :)
zigazagga 29-08-2001, 05:28:PM Just wondered if anyone knew of a good resource for .wav or .mp3 club songs or chants?
As for a good song, how's about 'World Cup Willie' or 'Move, move, move' for Utd?
cheers,
zig :D
Jambo Den 29-08-2001, 08:48:PM THE HEARTS SONG: www.heartsfc.co.uk/team/archive/scottish/hmfc.ra (http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/team/archive/scottish/hmfc.ra)
Hearts European song
to the tune of my way:
And now
the end is near
we've followed Hearts
from Perth to Paisley
we've travelled far
by bus and car
and then again
we've went by railway
we've been
to Aberdeen
we hate the Hibs
the make us spew up
SO MAKE A NOISE
YOU GORGIE BOYS
WE'RE GOING TO EUUUROPE
to see
H-M-F-C
we'll even dig
the channel tunnel
we'll go afloat
on some big boat
and tie our scarves
around the funnel
we'll have no cares
for foreign players
like Rossi,Boniek,
or Tardelli
when we're overseas
the Hibs will be
In Portabelly
100 years in a row
(entertainer tune)i think
a row,a row,
oh it's 100 years in a row
a row,a row,
oh it's 100 years in a row
you won the league cup
we dont give a f*ck,
it's 100 years in a row

Nimreitz 29-08-2001, 08:55:PM Those songs all suck compared to "Peter Reid has a F*ckin Monkey's heed"
Help? 29-08-2001, 11:59:PM I like "Everybody get up" by Five. That the only group i know that has an elements of rap, rock and pop( they should better take it out) in one song, so i don't know what style they are singinning. Anyways i like it. Ricky Martin's song in France 98 was that bad for football.
Alenitchev 30-08-2001, 12:11:AM Hino dos Super Dragões (avaiable on www.fcpnet.net (http://www.fcpnet.net), downloads section) for FC Porto music, Aïda 2000 (DJ Jurgen) and Tubthumping (Chumbawamba)
Edit: correct URL (,)

Silencer 30-08-2001, 12:30:AM I like the song 'Campione' from the Euro 2000, i installed that one in the game after every goal. niiiiiiiiiiiice :D
the -Russian Rocket- 30-08-2001, 08:15:AM "Who the f*ck are Man Uni-ted!?"
"Who the f*ck are Man Uni-ted!?".. blah blah blah. downloaded the song on Napster once, and REALLY liked it. Although I am not a Man U hater.. I am more of their supporter, than hater, actually... But still. A good song.
also I heard some song by some british guys with british accent.. something like: "3 lions on the shirt..blah-blah-blah".. Was made for the France 98, I think... wasn't too bad.
Alenitchev 30-08-2001, 11:33:PM Three Lions in better than Three Lions 98, IMHO.
ShearerM4 30-08-2001, 11:53:PM it's coming home
it's coming home
it's coming
Football's coming home
three lions on a shirt
Jules Rimet still gleaming
30 years of hurt
'll never stop me dreaming
defenetly the Euro96 version (which was the original) is much better than 98 version although it's quite nice aswell
footballs comin home (96 version was great)
i sang that atmy leavers concert in primary school(1996 i think) and still remember the words
