So I have Fifa 07 for the 360, but am disappointed on the whole with it. The Manager Mode in particular is atrocious, notably because it has a 5-year limitation with NO celebrations for championships period.

Does the PC version of 07 improve upon this in any respect, and what are the downloadable mods like for this game? It seems as though they are pretty dang good, and that even new stadiums can be user-modded and added.

How does it stack up against PES6 for the PC? Which game has the better Manager Mode with a sense that you actually accomplish something when you win a table or a championship? Thanks for the insight!!!

Manager mode on PC and other current-gen flavors of the game is much better with a 15-year cap. There are a lot of great mods for the game out there.

PES is still the best but FIFA is slowly catching up. I like the cup competitions in FIFA better but the celebrations and award ceremonies in PES are superior.

thanks, lad! that's an impression I can appreciate. so I am debating between this and PES6, and it's very difficult....Manager Mode in FIFA allows for more business-side transactions with the club, right? if I do stadia upgrades, are they visible? are the dowloadable stadia pretty solid for FIFA?

The downloadable stadiums are very good.

And if you like to play with almost all leagues in the world you can install CEP patch.: (for PC version)

how are the financial management features and the ability to sign and bring over transfers? are leagues editable at all, as in can i fictionally build up an MLS team and try to import them into the UEFA cup or something like that?

another question: does this game run well in widescreen modes, i.e. 1920 x 1080?

Yes to all. There are some great tools that allow you to do just about anything. You can build a fictional team or move any team and put it in the Premiership or any other league. You need to build cash and can transfer anyone in the game. I don't use a lot of in-game options, I use 3rd party tools like unidb with MS Access to change just about everything. Hope that helps.

As I was having fun with you, maybe you’re the stupid one. However, if you look at your title, it really is ripe for jokes. I think you’re the D-bag full time for not being specific. You post (including wrong ellipses point): "Tell me more about this title for PC...", maybe it should be "How does the manager mode in the PC version compare to the 360?" Yet again, from your post it doesn’t look like you have a question at all.

did you even read the post, moron? "ripe for jokes" because i have the 360 version and request some info about how it plays for PC with accompanying specific questions? righto. it's clear that your reading comprehension skills are second only to your degree of douchebaggery. good day, chap.

Playing manager mode is simply worthless since you play against a scripted AI. It doesn't matter what mod you add or whatever, you will always be significant superior against AI. If you want to really enjoy this game and have competitive matches, just PLAY ONLINE! Thats it.
