I have installed DirectX 8.0. I have a Ge Force 2 GTS. I was told by EA tech support that NVidia has not released a driver that supports DirectX 8.0. Can I uninstall it or must I wait for a new driver to be released?

I am getting a complete lockup when I run Fifa 2001. In addition to the Direct X issue, are there any other configuration tips that I should know about.

They should be detonators 7.17.
