I already have 180 stadiums & 1800+ faces, so I guess I will just use the things I do like & haven't got yet. (text files, bootpack etc). I'm just hesitating if I should keep my old option file or go for the superpatch one....

Why is it "a joke" & why do you think the Evo one is better? Please give arguments, it will be easier for others to make up their minds if opinions are based on foundations & arguments rather than statements like "it's great" or "it s*cks".

ok play superpatch and start long passing and short passing you will see that the player does not have much time for passing, anyway put that aside the biggest shocking factor is the way the passes are given making them look like split second passes never can watch a player give real passes but rather fast forward passes play the game with superpatch you will see, you don't have that problem in evo option file

90% of people prefere the twicked gameplay, but i might release a normal gameplay one

nt89 bro I'm sure you know what i mean, but very nice patch, just the lacking side is the speedy gameplay just a bit more less maybe take off 5% of the passing speed and shooting

If I don't like the tweaked gameplay can I just use a regular option file?

I have evolution patch installed, and i'm thrilled with the new graphics. But can anyone give an unbiased opinion on which patch to get? also, will the superpatch option file work with evolution patch installed?

Evolution patch is still the one for me as in Superpatch there aren't enough teams of the same country to play in Master League...

I tried chimps tweaked option file for evolution patch,I really don't like it(crazy speedy gameplay) and that keeps me away from downloading superpatch,but if nt89 releases an untweaked option file,I(probably many others) maybe be interested in downloading superpatch.That must not be that hard to release an option file with the tools we have I think.

Could you give us your reasons? Statements like that don't really help people make their minds up. Why do you prefer Superpatch/Evopatch?

You can modify the option file on your own, aswell. PESFan Editor is quite good.

Personally, I installed the Evolution Patch when it first came out, and I think it's pretty good. I've been updating ever since then, of course, with HD-Kits, bootserver, scoreboards, HD Emblums, etc.

Something I'd like to know is what does Superpatch have that Evolution Patch doesn't, and vice-versa? Perhaps a feature comparison list is in order?

Also, which one has the best artwork generally? I mean for menus, backgrounds, etc. Is one clearly better than the other, or is it more of a matter of opinion? Could we see some screenshots of the Superpatch menus perhaps?

It takes out the eridivisie and puts in more "other" teams. I dont care for erie
the option file of superpatch has "tweaked" gameplay which i dont really like
also, evo patch has a choice of option file with 0 points, superpatch has all players, teams, etc. unlocked in the option file. I dont think there is another option file with 0 points for superpatch. I only like unlocking few certain players so i can use them in masterleague. if they all are unlocked, master league has too many older retired players in it and doesnt seem as real.
STADIUMS look better in evo patch, at least to me.

only thing that sucks is the music, haha

i will still stick with EVO patch because i play Master League all the time so i prefer to have all the 2nd division team for all the league. Those who prefer dutch league will switch to SP patch i believe. But i do not like the default EVO scoreboard but have change it myself :)

maybe they need a 3rd concurrent that will kick their asses

I'm sticking with evo patch, as the graphics are great (menus etc) needs an update on some of the faces though. But all in all it's a great patch, doesn't get much better.


And I hope there will be a 3rd competitor for the best soccer game award.

Evolution without a doubt.
The loading screens are nicer to look at, the menus look better, nicer logos on most if not all pages, team names team logos all more accurate.

The stadiums installed with evo are much nicer (without server) one example off the top of my head, in superpatch play as everton (blue) against bolton (white) at old trafford the whole ground is covered in red its everywhere the stands the adds mu logos allsorts, it really looks very poor, same with some of the other stadiums in superpatch, not finished or for example you take a corner in some and the stand will be blocking your view of the penalty box ;) thats not right me thinks, ive had none of this with evo. Then the sound, i have to be honest, i only played about 5 games with the superpatch (i saw enuf to want to go back to evolution :) ) so wont comment on the sound but in evo it is very very good.

Kits balls faces all much of a muchness, like someone allready said there not that important you can find them anywhere, but if you installed both patches on the same pc into different install locations then deleted the kitserver folder from both i guarentee you will play evo 100%, theres a lot of small subtle differences that u dont notice but they are there.

One point, im english i wanted to play the premier league in both i havnt really played other leagues in either, i dont know where the different makers are from so maybe superpatch was more geared for others on the european continent.

EVOLUTION is much better with gameplay. I had superpatch for PES5 and that was amazing when they finished it off. But EVO is simply beautiful and the stadiums are magnificent, looking very much forward to the next release.

I can't for the life of me understand why anyone would prefer Fifa to this game except that the Master League sucks. I wish someone had the knowhow to patch it to a manager mode like Fifa with full capacity for the English League and beyond.

Perhaps KONAMI can work on that in the future....

I think evo is better with the chants and the color. Superpatch use the yellow screen that I was already sicking tired of it. I now believe the color affects the person mood in most times.
