is the patch .cmp file or .exe? And if .exe why does everyone snub Rinaldo's easy to use patching tool and (as I predicted) persist in making non compatible between each other .exe patches? Stupidity? Note that this question is not directed towards the makers of this Scottish patch but also to the various other league patch makers, I am yet to see the first .cmp patch to appear...

Ukraine league has been made as a cmp file (it was released as an .exe file but the creator allowed that a cmp file was made of it - so i don't think they don't WANT to make it as cmp, it's just a new technology and... well, i don't know why they make it but i still don't want to believe your theory that every patchmaker wants his patch to be the only one).

the patch will come as a .zip file which will contain the "data" folder with database and graphics in it.

Hey, the screens look very interesting and it looks like a nice patch. On my Opinion the teams are too strong (maybe compare them with teams from the english divisions...). :)

i don't whant use cmp format because i can't put in patch all, that i whant.
i change player model. so now i can use captain armband 16X128 or even 32X256. much better then 1X1;) and much pretty. or i add stadium and some files, that make sun in the "sunset day". much beeter again as for me. So may be rinaldo can make some update of CM.

it wasn't offtopic, i just wanted to tell Zefilio that there IS a cmp-patch around :)

i think as long as exe files overwrite previous patches and self-made modifications, captain armbands and player models aren't that important. we have now a lot of league patches: ukraine, scotland, romania, hungary, malta, greece... if all those were cmp patches everyone could have all of these leagues.

Hi guy! I hope you are not going to take the db of the Scottish 1st Division we made for the CEP ;) .I'm really encouraging you for this patch, but I have a proposition for you:

I don't know if you know but I'm planning to add also the 2 Division and the 3rd division into the next CEP 4.0. Why not waiting a few and collaborating for those 2 leagues to add to your patch?
If you can work on the kits, I can make the db for the 20 new teams for you.

No problem for the kits, you can use them :)
But about a kitmaking tool, I don't know anything except using a good template and work with Photoshop CS.
But instead why not making the other way? Can you make the db and other things for the 20 teams ( 18 missing for 3rd and 4th) and we make the kits for them?

you need winrar or winzip to open the file. but youll need the latest version of the creation master 07 to load the patch into the game.

I've done all that and after reinstalling FIFA. I make the changes on the CM07 then go to start a career and it crashes to windows when I choose my career team.


PS: I've played a kick off game no problems. It's only when I go to start a career it crashes.

More likely to be the patch than CM07, but either is possible. You need to check with the creator whether or not they've used the patch to start a new career.

i think every spl team works, its the sfl teams which crash the game.

My apologies if this is blindingly obvious but did you delete your squads (from 'D. My Squads' in the 'FIFA 07' folder in your 'My Documents' structure) before starting the game with this patch installed?? Oh, and at what point during the career creation process does it fail?? I seem to remember reading that this 'patch' requires an unpatched version of the game and I assume that you are running it against an 'out of the box' copy with no other changes (including the official patch(es)) installed??

I don't have this patch installed (my own FIFA 07 is exactly as it came on the original DVD and I have no intention of changing it) but I would be happy to try and run the data files through my analyser routine to see if it can find anything obviously wrong (you should see the number of problems it finds in the CEP!!) Send the FIFA.DB (from data\cmn in the program files structure for the game) and ENG.DB (from data\cmn\fe), preferably ZIPped into a single archive, to eaffanalyser@ntlworld.com and I'll see what I can find out

Gers seems not to have waited for my help..but anyway, if someone is interested here, I have the kits for the Bell's 2nd division and the Bell's 3rd division, that we will add into next CEP.

I managed to start a career with celtic by editing the patch with CM.

I think theres something about the teams "domestic prestige" but im not sure i edited severel things. Both Rangers and Celtic crashed when i chose them in career-mode but not the other teams. I set their prestige level down to 17 which gives them 4 stars. I think the cause of error was EA's limit to only start teams with 4 stars but again im not sure. I dont have the paper work to back this up.

Also edited this even if it didn't affect the outcome: Set the crowds for Old firm down to big and i deleted them from the top24 tournament.

Also this was made without using the EA update patch, Gers51's update for his patch and on a clean installation of fifa with Scottish Megapatch
