I just have a small question before I can continue my game:

I am manager of small-town Haarlem (Dutch 2nd division) & have asked my board for a parent club.
They give me Utrecht & AZ as options, but I want to wait 'til I might get Ajax in the future (as in real life Ajax & Haarlem are parent & feeder clubs to eachother).

If I decline both recommendations from my board (both AZ & Utrecht), I can not immediately ask the board for a parent club again & this sounds more than logical to me.

But my question is: WHEN will my board be able to answer my request for a parent club again & will give me a new list of clubs? Will I have to wait a couple of weeks, a season? Or will I never be able to ask for a parent club again with my board, as I have denied their first options?

I'd really like to know, as I am willing to wait 1 season if that means I could maybe get Ajax as feeders. But if the board will never allow the request for a feeder again, I will choose AZ now, as it would be better than nothing (especially with such a low prestige club like Haarlem).

Thanks a lot for answering, as I'm really waiting for an answer before continueing my game.

As time goes by they will give you the option again, so to answer your question: yes, it's possible. The time it takes differs, I'd say something like 2-3 months

If you get promoted to the Eredivisie though, they (Ajax or any other eredivisie team) will cancel the link as you're in the same division.

I do think Utrecht has a better youth system, so go with them instead.
