I have sent my Champions League Ball v2.0 to the Downloads Centre 3 times now and I still can't see it there. The first time I sent it was weeks and weeks ago. Why won't Jakob add my ball???

Jakob receives many, many files everyday. We're sorry that he didn't add your ball. Send it to me first and I will pass it on.

This is a rare occurance as most files that are sent to Jakob (as long as they are correctly zipped up and described in the email) are added within a week.

Yes, the same goes for the adidas official ball pack.

If they make strict "no fantasy and wannabe" rules, I might well change there for good.

Our DC won't have fantasy or wannabe stuff... like fake kits, balls and anything made by ShearerM4 (we're talking wannabe English football teams here)...

even the most anticipated FIFA patch will be there...

I also sent an email to the DC about someone who stole my adboads from my PSP2001 patch and said they made the ads. I asked in the email to give me credit but no answer and no changes. What gives??? :confused:

Yeah - the same happened to my cousin JJ when some of his stuff was stolen by some other authors and claimed it to be theirs. He wrote to $G asking them to remove these files but he refused.

Then ShearerM4 (the wannabe Englishman - really a frog) included some of his kits without JJ's permission. He went absolutely beserk and asked for them to be removed cos they were also on $G's server (which is against his policy - he never sends anything to sites owned by Mad Max) - therefore he asked for them to be removed. But they were not and he's still seething.

Not to forget the kits made apparently by "Gazza" - it was JJ's Aston Villa kit which was just rebadged as made by someone else. But coincidentally the file link was a 404...

And of course my Everton kit and JJ's others were stolen by the Crippler before he apologised and changed himself.

But really - the DC that $G have is an overrated piece of sh*t designed by a hacker, and the files that have been added there in the last month are very substandard.

That's why I think the downloads centre that FIFA Centre Spot and Soccered are making right now (made from scratch - no money involved) could be more successful. And as they don't send stuff to $G and have very original and exciting downloads - it could be the better alternative!

The new soccered DC should be great. Im looking forward to getting back involved with the soccered downloads after all this time :p.

there's nothong wrong with the fantasy section !! i find it cool to let others express their talent and inventions and some of my fantasy kits are better designed than some other real ones.
as for you § I won't take such criticism without answering back... well i should call you JJ really coz someone who knows so much about their "cousin" and who rights like that, that style .... hum hum well lets say it's not unrecognisable.

Actually I changed the accepted
box from that file so it no longer appeared in the centre. But maybe Lior has changed it back cos he thought it was a mistake??? :eek:

Anyway, I receive a lot of files everyday, so I'm sorry if your files haven't been added yet. But if you sent it a long time ago I might know the reason - my outlook was acting strange (Microsoft :confused: ) and all my mails in the inbox got deleted - including 39 files or so..

These forums are for discussing FIFA 2001/2002. If you can't get any business, and have to advertise by making crazy accusations on someone elses server, that's pretty sad.

My problem with the "fantasy stuff" is almost all with the cartloads of Nike wannabes bulls*it balls. How many Nike Geo's wannabees have you seen? And now, how many are exactly the same thing? I don't understand why some many people still make those awful balls... if they can't make be made, why try on and on and on?

Alenitchev - the only way we'd get a fully genuine Nike Geo ball in FIFA 2001 is if someone edits the ball RAV file and uses a texture format similar to that in the stars series.
The Nike Geo has four sides to it if you look at in in two dimensions. But the FIFA 2001 ball format uses the hexagonal ball pattern five times, therefore making a real Nike Geo using the current ball structure is 100% impossible!!!

And because the image is reversed on the other side of the ball it makes a new look CL ball look weird in the game (one set of stars join but the others don't)...

Hmm I wonder if it's possible to translate the ball50.t3d file from FIFA 2000 as well as it's corresponding FSH file into a FIFA 2001 ball format - so that we'd have a FIFA 99 style ball that is easy to edit and doesn't have to be symmetrical...

I know the limitations of balls, but that isn't a excuse for the huge amount of crap I see uploaded every week.
