Not that I know in fifa 2001. But good news, fifa 2002 will that function so it will let you change the buttons for your gamepad. So don't blame it on your gamepad, its ea's fault not building that function.

Does anyone know where I can get a patch that'll let me define the game controls for my joypad? The default setting is RUBBISH and I want to change the buttons, but there's no option in the game!

If you have any of the Gravis pads using the Xperience software (Game Pad Pro and similar), then you can reset the buttons via the software. You can download the software from the Gravis site.

If it's a bog standard Gravis Game Pad, you are unfortunately stuffed. Try buying a Game Pad Pro. I bought two of them for £8 each from www.eb.uk.com (http://www.eb.uk.com) four months ago just to play FIFA and NHL.
