Hey Guys,

Does anyone out there know how to add transparency to textures used on the hair object in oedit? In CM07 you can load a png file, but in oedit it only lets you load bmp files. I am trying to blend the hair object into the head object. Any ideas?

just save the .png as a .bmp then load in Oedit

When you do that, everything that was transparent as a png becomes white when you save as a bmp file. If you notice, the png has a gradual transparency alpha channel and not just a plain black and white alpha channel.

on stadiums we need also transparency for textures and we work also with .bmp To make transparency you need to do another .bmp image but you need to select the pixels that you whant to be transparent, fill them with black RGB value : 0,0,0 and then copy them on the new image that is blank white.

o-edit doesn't support transparency, so you have to imagine what it will look like with transparency. But when you pull your o file into FIFA, just use the png images instead of the bmps and voila! Your transparency will appear in-game.

Thanks guys, I realize that in CM07 I can use the png file and that it will look finr in the game. I was wondering how to use gradient alpha channels in oedit, but since it is not supported then I won't worry about it. Thanks.:)
