I read in the Sun newspaper in England (must be true) that Bayern Munich defender Bixente Lizarazu has expressed his wish to be transferred to Manchester United. Bayern are reluctant to let him and their manager has slapped a £25 million price on his services. United would be reluctant to shell out that sort of money for a 31 year old. Especially after their recent big money deals.

This is exactly what we all Man U fans i think about right know, i hope. am i right? his would be great if Lizarazu would come to Old Trafford!

Sadly for Man U fans the last I heard ... from Sky Sports, is that Bixente LIZARAZU is not interested in a move to Old Trafford and is talks with Bayern over a new contract!!
Apparently he's using the man u story just to put a bit of pressure on bayern to work as a weight on their shoulders forcing them to increase wages .... I'm not making this up I heard it today on Sky Sports News.
It' a shame coz he belongs in the premier league
he's a great player, you just wouldn't how good he really is !!! he used to play for Bordeaux so i used to see him play week in week out .... and he's now probably the best left back in europe.

On top of that United signed Veron so who needs Lizerazu or whatever his name is.
I think he will play one more season for Bayern and than the hunt is open again but I won't be surprised if he left for Olympique or something so he can go back to France.

Of course Man u need Lizarazu hes probly the best left back in football and miles better then Silvestre so who wouldnt want him

seriously micky is brilliant i know most people think he's crap because he was for 18 months but all of a sudden he has gotten great, don't knock mickey any true united fan would recognise his quality.

Micky Silvestre has been improving a lot this last season, it took him a while to settle but he is a very good defender!

philler - finally someone agrees with me, two things i have trouble proving to people are micky is great and andy cole is crap. Watching people every week you realise what they're really like.

Yeah he may be improving i'll give ya that and I'm not saying hes **** but he's still not half the man Lizarzu is.

Silvestre is good and i saw a lot of tricks he did to other forwards, not that hilariuos like Bartez did, that other team players didn't know what to do, but still very good and he is a good defender. Wes Brown is good too.
