Man this could be a really big player in the coming years, his technique reminds you of van Basten, he has the speed of Overmars and he scores so damn easy, it's absurd
One goal is more beautiful than the other.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is his name and he plays for Ajax now since this month.
I really think that Ajax attracted one of the greatest players on the pitch in the Netherlands for the coming season.
O.k. the matches were just trainingmatches but to score 4 goals in one and 5 goals in the other is quite an achievement wouldn't you agree.
He's allready a hero in Sweden it seems and we as Ajaxfans are hoping he will make all the expectations come true.
Go Zlatan and welcome, make Ajax the champions once again :D
Help?

Ibrahimovic is only 19 year old and a great promise according to the critics and reporters in Sweden and Holland (and soon more reporters I bet)
He signed a contract for 5 years with Ajax but if he will keep playing like he does than I think he will be leaving Ajax in two years or something.
The remarkable thing is this, I've read that he ONLY wanted to play for Ajax. He received the guided tour at Arsenal and Wenger showed him round personally. Arsenal had his shirt ready and everything with his name on it but he wanted to wait for Ajax. AC Milan and Juve were interested as well.He knew that Ajax followed his progress and hoped that Ajax would come forward for him and they did.
He was as happy as a child he said in an interview because he considers it to be a great honour to play for Ajax. He's a big fan of Marco v Basten and even has his picture in his wallet!
He wants to be as great as v Basten was and many people think that he can be just that!
That's what I meant with expectations.
The man is a giant by the way, 1 m 98 but he runs like a 'normal' sized player can you believe it.
He seems to be a fanatic and easily gets cards during matches, that's what he has to work on if he plays for Ajax. Fanatic ok but many cards is not done of course.

Well, I have been a fan of his for a year now, and have never seen him play. He is a Championship Manager legend, and in the most realistic soccer management game on earth, he becomes one of the best players in the world. I thought you were talking about CM when I read your Subject line.
I have very high hopes for this youngster.

I dont want to be an asshole here, but he's not such a good player as Van Basten and never will be. I can remember Claudio Oliveire Phereira scoring 9 times in only the first match, and 4 times in the second. Now he is playing back in Brasil because he wasn't good enough for PSV.

Zlatan will be good enough for Ajax.
He is the most expensive player ever bought from a swedish club and he will make it. Maybe he won't keep it going in this crazy pace but in time he will indeed be a great player.
His dribbling skills are potentially the best ever for a Swedish player and his idol is Ronaldo... He is probably the closest we Swedes will come to produce our own Ronaldo...

Well Teletoonder he's better than Kezman that's for sure!
And I'm confident that he will make it indeed!

Yeah I'm a Ajax fan too, and it's good to see that Ajax finally has bought a new, young striker. If Ronaldo is his Idol, he's doin pretty good, cause Ronaldo broke trough in the Dutch First Division too, at PSV :)
