I had this problem, along with other FIFA 2001 players: FIFA 2001 kept crashing back to Windows after playing for a couple of seconds. I FIXED THE PROBLEM!!!!! But.....don't get your hopes up high. Because it worked for me doesn't mean it will work for you!!! So don't get angry with me if it doesn't work. OK, this is what I found out: when I ran FIFA 2001_EZ.exe (it's in your support directory) I noticed that my display was a standard monitor. But my diplay is a Fujitsu c722 17". I couldn't find my monitor in the Windows settings. So I looked for over 2 hours for the display driver for my c772 (it wasn't on the Fujitsu.com homepage!!) and found it finally on some Dutch Fujitsu page (luckily I'm from Holland). I installed the new displaydrivers and FIFA 2001_EZ.exe recognised (after rebooting) my new display!!! Only it said 'plug and play' monitor, but that's better than a standard monitor. I played FIFA 2001 and it didn't crash anymore!!!! So try and get the newest displaydrivers for your monitor, install it and your problems will be solved!!!! (I don't know if this 'fix' solves the problem of crashing after 2 matches, but it might be!!!) REMEMBER....this worked for MY computer and might not work for yours. TRY IT AND ALL OF YOU LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKED OR IF IT DIDN'T!!!!!!

Well it doesn't work for me. When I run the app it says that my OS isn't compatible. It says that the minimum requirements are Win 95/98 and states that I have Win 98. Problem is I have Win ME and for some reason, though stating that I have above the minimum requirements, my OS isn't right.

I've heard downloading the sound add-ons will solve the problem. So, only one problem remaining. Finding them...

Well it seems your problem than is your OS. About finding the sound add-ons, the sound add-on is as big as the whole FIFA 2001 game and is about 36 files, again!!! You can find it at www.macrowarez.org/gp (http://www.macrowarez.org/gp) but the links are at the moment corrupted (they worked before, that's where I got my version) so you'll either have to wait or find a other site (I found 4 other sites with commentary add-ons, but I didn't bookmark them because they were to slow, pings of over 2000 for instance). Patience.
