HY you remember fifa 2005 in the san siro stadium there were some torches red ones and balck ones now im asking you can i import that torches in fifa 2007 ????

I've been looking to restore those also but haven't found how to do it, I think they removed the flares from the game, too bad...

If anyone out there could figure out how to add flares to fifa07 that would be great. Yeah, I know it has nothing to do with the improving gameplay but it would add more atmosphere to the stadiums, which is a big part of the game!

they had the flares in fifa05 but didn't erase the part in this ini file. they never erase stuff in those files - that's why most of it is actually junk.

That's a shame, as it would add so much to the game!

Isn't it possible to make flares similarly to the way that Mexican Traveller added flags to the crowds with his patch?

The little flag graphics can still be activated but Imo they removed the flare graphics from the game entirely, just leaving the old references to them in the .ini file but those references are just junk and can no longer be activated now. Sadly.

1) Open the file cfg_pc_h.ini located in fifa07/data/cmn in notepad

2) add or change the line reading SMALLFLAG_ENABLED = 0 to
SMALLFLAG_ENABLED = 1

3) Immediatly under the SMALLFLAG_ENABLED = 1 line, add the following entry :

FLAG_ANIMATION_DURING_GAMEPLAY = 1

4) Save your file and play the game.


Keep in mind this only works for some of the default EA stadiums like Nou Camp, San Siro, Bernabeu ect AND WILL NOT WORK for the new custom made stadiums at all.

It was on his shoulder. And you can't throw the flares from the stands in a video game (yet). I like the flares because it make the crowd look more realistic, just like real life flag replicas.
