Hey guys, since there has been some talks about starting a league (notably from the Canadians in the forum, heh), so let's get started with some ideas. Here are mine:

If we have divisions, have all the ppl from Canada play in the "Canadian" division, all ppl from britain play in "Britain" division and all ppl who live in Italy play in the "Italian" division and so forth. why divisions? because if you live closer to each other you will have better lag, and it's just cool http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/wink.gif

BUT, for now, reply to this post and give us your ideas but most of all GIVE US YOUR ICQ NUMBER. If you dont have ICQ get it now! its the best way to chat and message ppl other than mIRC.

I live in Adelaide, is there going to be a Oceania League? I don't want to brag, but I think I will definitely be challenging for honours that is for sure!!

I think one of the rules for online leagues is that players have to use actual rosters. No playing Ipswich with Rivaldo, Figo, Titov and Jesus in goal. This way, the playing field is leveled.

What do you think?

i think not using rosters is more realistic because what if 2 peaple chose rivaldo or beckham then that would suck. can you imagen 2 beckhams play against each other.

I have actually come up with the same idea, all the canadians, english(british), australians, greeks, and any body else have a league (how many teams per league?) with the winners going in to a tournament to see who is the best in the world, whos up for it?

will more than one person be a single team? eg. lots will want to be Man Utd and Juventus, how will we get around this?

And another thing, if we're going to do this, we'll have to do it properly. Someone take charge of each countries league. This person will sort out fixtures, teams and anything else that needs doing, and then arrange the final tournament with the other league co-ordinators. I will gladly take charge of the english post, but what about the other countries? CSF as you started this, you could be the Canadian league co-ordinator.

Well we want at least 30 people from the same country in order for us to open up a division. Right now "the Map" is shaky. I keep on changing the borders of the continents.
If other countries already have their own divisions, it is because we are expecting quite a few entries for those countries.
Tell you what: tell all your friends in Singapore to sign up and I think you will be able to have your own division.
