personally i think the graphics would be better on the pc especially if u have got a voodoo card, dont get me wrong the ps2 graphics are suberb but because u play it on a tv it never seems the same, as for the ai i couldnt really comment becayuse i have inly played against a freind but im supposed to be going around to his later to play again so i will tell u wen i return

SPACEFACE could be telling the truth guys, I now theres a mod chip for PS2 and the ISOs of PS2 are everywhere. But what I dont know about is if theres really a swap disk utility like the one for dreamcast.

PS2 uses DVD soh in order to work with a ISO CD thats smaller in size, they have to create a utility that lets you store a game in several cdroms to work and make it work as one.

Just like I said, for the dreamcast that uses gdrom they maid a swap utility, so they rip the game in as many CD ROMS as the game needs then swap utility asks for the CDs as you play the game.

Ive heard of a similar utility for the PS2 but I dont know much about. Some people say it works and that poeple in hong kong are already selling warez copies of games for the PS2

My next door neighbor who work in a warehouse for a US retailor just got a PS2 and Madden2001, Fifa2001, and SSX and the graphics rock. In Madden it looks like your watching tv the players look so real, and in Fifa2001 the pitch is really bigger and the goalie saves alot better then last year. I hope to play more on it tommorow after just playing for 4 hours today.

PS: Ea Sports will have 6 games released on the release date on PS2.

How did your friend get a PS2 before launch? It is launched tomorrow...also you would need a mod chip to play a burnt game off the internet...and a mod-chip that allows that hasn't been made for the US version of the PS2 yet cause the PS2 hasn't been released...but if it is true...how are the analog buttons for the game work?

can you really "backup" i.e burn PSX2 games?
if so will we be able to add mods?

yes you can as long as there not dvd games the dvd games need ripping first and to back up normal games u use CDR WIN for it and u can mod it but the mod isnt out for the usa system yet
