In Fifa2000 you are too likely to lose possesion when you pass the ball. It encourages people to run around doing 360 spins.

I really like the graphics in Fifa2000 but Fifa99 was better. In F2K the best players were the ones that could time the spins best.

-Bigger pitch! (Which has been included in 2001)

-Refs calling fouls on tackles from behind.

-Goalies not to be so unstopable from long range.

-Players not being so accuarate on shots.

-More players in clubs teams (it was 18 make it 22).

-Portugal League

-Portugal NT

-Turkish League

They really did a nice job graphically with 2K but my biggest gripes were the rediculous game play and lack of realism, the poor job they did on kits and the team strategy settings, the poor difficulty and speed settings, the inability to save the camera settings, lack of Portuguese league and national team and of course the terrible commentators and Robbie Williams music... I had to crank all the teams down to total defense just to get some realistic scores and even that didn't work all the time... all EA has to do is look at real football matches and see how they are played and what kind of stats there are on corners, fouls, free kicks etc... then maybe they could make a more realistic game instead of this fast paced goal bonanza that results in baseball scores...

So here is what I would want to see...

Bigger Pitch...allow players space to run and to move the ball around more.

Ability to deflect ball off opposing player and win corners (there's never enough corners in games).

A shot power meter and shooting that is not always so accurate...there should be more misses and close shots as well as shots tha stay on the ground.

A more conservative pace of play so that more passing can be done and more realistic moves.

Better and more fair AI... the AI should miss more shots as well, pass more and not be able to score at will!

Better defensive marking and realistic goal keeping... don't make them worse but don't make them invincible either.

More fouls without an excess of cards... this would result in more free kicks which are lacking as well.

More realistic strategy and tactic settings that match the real clubs as well as better in game strategy/tactic choices.

More realistic player settings so the AI can't outrun you with a poor player!

Portuguese League and NT... as well as all teams in Champions League and UEFA Cup and all major NTs... the rest of the world club section in 99 was great but it was lacking on 2k because of the classic teams

Ability to play as promoted teams! More giant killers (i.e. teams other than div 2) in domestic cups and better randomized tournaments in consecutive season play... I don't want 2 or 3 English or German or whatever clubs in the same groups or play the same team in the domestic cup that I'm playing in Europe!

Better commentators and commentary... Motson will be back!

Thats some of it... probably have more but I just want to see a game that captures more football realism and atmosphere... 99 was a step in the right direction but they messed up on 2K except graphically... we'll see??

I know it's pretty much out already, but still...

What changes do you Want to See in '01?
I mean specifics, not stuff like "Better Graphics" or "More teams", I mean stuff like...(and this is what I want):

-Portugeuse League and Teams.

-more personal moves - get the old 99 moves, like the legs-over-ball, or a REAL sidestep: kicking the ball over the guy's leg and jumping over the tackle, passing ball through legs, fake-breaking-away, etc.

-Make the goalies worse. Jesus, they're gods here. Scoring a goal from outside of the P box is a miracle here, a Goal of Season.

-Specifically - Make it possible to Score from far away, 16, 20, 30 yards away even. And make it possible to score goals which are FLAT ON GROUND..and Goals which don't go directly into the top corner of goal..

-more realistic Goalie reactions - goalies almost never jump with both hands, and they fend off to corners more, don't catch it.

-Players (most of em) do NOT kick as well with both legs, as they do in Fifa2000.

-Better refereeing...you can't SlideTackle 50 times in a match without getting a card...

-Stop the heading-Bazooka thing, where every Heading is hit at 90 MPH.

-Make the players move around more, not just stand in their formation.

-I CAN'T PASS BACKWARDS, in the opp.'s half! it ALWAYS gets taken away!

-When you play 4-3-3 with a player-behind-forwards...whenever you get a corner, that player comes to you and BLOCKS your freaking KICK! AARGh!
