Ok, let's take the "Albania-Greece"
topic aside, that's something we will not agree with until we watch the game.

i have a question to you -- there have been two Russians playing in Finnish soccer league -- Popovich and Ivanov, I think. Popovich is 29 years olds and he has been the Finnish Premier League best player of the season a while back in mid 90's... He has been loaned to Heerenveen after the Finnish season was over, I suppose, and played about 3 months in Holland. Also, the fans of the team he played for were not believing he was coming back.... Do you know where he plays now, is he back to Finland? (or do you even know him? http://www.soccergaming.com/ubb/smile.gif)

Also, who is the manager of TPS Turku hockey team now? Yurzinov was the manager of TPS in 1997 when they won the EHL tournament. But I have no idea where he manages now.

thanks,

Yeah Valeri Popovitsch was chosen best player in the finnish league this year and Herenveen wanted to sign him but he refused as he wanted to continue playing in Haka. He plays there with Oleg Ivanov who I don't know much about. HJK Helsinki has old Spartak Moscow player Yeremenko in their lineup.
Jursinov doesn't coach TPS anymore and has been replaced with Hannu Jortikka at TPS.
But he holds a hockey camp in the summer in Turku where tps is from and he hosts players there like Yashin, Saku Koivu, Martin Rucinsky..
Jursinoc's son Vladimir Jr. coaches Ässät's A juniors in the finnish league.

Talking about Albania they missed out on a good player in Shefki Kuqi who got finnish nationality and now plays in our national team. He is the star striker for Jokerit and is wanted by Wolverhampton, Vitesse and Bayer Leverkusen.

"Wolverhampton, Vitesse and Bayer Leverkusen" That is a great group! If Bayer and Vitesse are somehow can be counted as Europe's clubs, but Wolves........

allright, thanx, with Mischuk, the Russian colony expands in Finland.... As for the Popovich's decision; I would do the same thing. I would stay in the country where I am loved for the past 5-6 years, where the way of life is not worse than in Holland, where I would get more playing time, compete in EuroCups.... This guy is 29 years old, so it is not the time to start his new career... What position is Haka at?

Haka is currently number one and Jokerit is second although I think Jokerit has played better but.. =(
The last league matches are on Saturday and Haka have a two point lead over Jokerit going into saturday's round up.
