Today I noticed that the update downloads something.....any idea what it is?

Why the **** don't EA announce these things rather than just keeping it all some big secret.

If you've ****ed up and your fixing something .... tell us.

They could be downloading a virus for all the **** I know

I said more or less the same thing on a news posting on my site yesterday. I wish that EA put in a text file stating what changes have been made, rather than leave us in the dark about it...

I've found nothing new so far with the patch, but I've not yet tried playing online (Matchup or DirectIP)... EA had apparently knew of a few problems people were having online and were on about fixing it, so whether they have or not with this patch, I have no idea...

Crowd chants.....listen closely and you'll find some new ones....

I wish they change the goal crowd chant - too fake!

The update also appears to clear up graphic problems with blockiness and white lines, at least with the Voodoo 3 2000.
I agree that things could be made more clear. What ARE they hiding?
