Ronaldo is probably worthy of a world record price though I doubt that even then Man U would sell him or Ronaldo would not want to leave.

Saying that though I have always thought that Robinho should be as good as Ronaldo, just doesn't seem to either play enough or play well enough when given his chance, whether this is down to the coach or the player I am currently undecided. Thats not to say he is a bad player just that I always expect more from him

anyway on the game everyone was exceptional except for maybe robben and robinho drifted in and out of the game, and robben really needs to know when to release the ball, too selfish at times.

but everyone else was great, diarra was a rock hes starting to come back to fom, and sniejder had a monster of a game every thing went through him and some great running as well.

the defense was solid, a bit shaky at times on setpieces but thats one of racings strong points, i guess schuster might have a point when he says they are the best defense in the world and they certainley looked like it.

Edit - About Gago, what is this some kind of joke? The kid ( yes kid he is young you know ) is IMO great and this season he has really shown it. I wouldn't trade him for anything. Also it seems like Robinho is still not match fit yet, he got tired pretty quick and looked a little slower than usual although it's expected after being out for so long. Still he did good but I'm sure he will get a lot better as he gets more fit to play. Also If anyone really thinks Robinho is not happy at all than just watch the celebreation from Higuain's goal.

I really doubt there is anything wrong with Robinho, after all most of the unhappy rumors came about from Sport so that should say enough but I really don't think he is unhappy. He is on the bench becuase he is sitll not 100% match fit and it showed vs Racing.

As for Gago, I think he is great and yes I did see the game. At the same time we should remember he is young but also a part of our core team for the future and I very much like him as I do with Higuain.

Uhm, Gago has been our most consistent midfielder this season. He is superb!

Personally would like to see Robinho in a Real shirt for many years to come. He has the skill to be one of the best players in the world, although it seems either he is not totally fit or he is still looking to regain some confidence.

Casillas again proved that he is out of this world!! He really is the best this season. Normally he was just behind Gigi, but this season....He is better!!

Saviola was just pure class yesterday!! He is superb!! Pepe, Ramos and Marcelo (in attack) were fantastic! Sneijder again showed that we dont need any other attacking midfielder. Guti was back to his best. Robinho is improving. Gago was the best in midfield. He is really becoming world class!! Raul worked his socks off and was unlucky not to get a goal!

Pipita made an instant impact on the game!! His cross for Robben's goal was just technicaly perfect!! And he had a well taken goal. Robben was also very good!!

Agree, in the end they do represent Spain and their win's only help Spain. Now for some transfer news, we have bough back J. Garcia and Calderon calims that he will have a spot in the team as a squad player although I don't think so. I think we will use him as a bargining chip for a player ( maybe X. Alonso ).

It's also been reported that Valencia is broke or something like that and with how ****ty they have done this season it is likely that they will have a lot of players leaving. Hello David Villa, if this true he should be our biggest transfer target this summer. I know we don't have a great relationship with Valencia but now is the best time to try and get him.

Last but not least we are also interested in Essien who if we somehow were able to get I would cream my pants...but it's clear that we want another centermid apart from DLR and J. Garica coming back. That's pretty much the only one's I thought were meant mentioning.

What a game!!! I watched every second of it. Congratulations on defending the title. Penalty seemed questionable but didn't matter in the end. Terrific finish on the second goal and good to see Robben get in on the scoring after his injury riddled season.

In all reality injuries hit us horribly bad this year but with a guy like De La Red coming back we got a guy who can play up and down the midfield and who has been tested against top opposition, so that last signing is not horribly needed. I would like to keep Saviola as he has show he can contribute...I wouldnt spend a boatload of money on a striker because seems like Higuain is starting to come into his own; the only two Positions IMO that need strenghtening are Holding mid and CB because Cannavaro aint what he used to be, and Pepe and Ramos both tend to get a number of cards

OK, this whole pasillo business is getting to me. #1, I do not expect or would never "force" Barca to step aside and clap as we walked on to the pitch, in recognition of our title. It seems very weird to me. Just because you do not applaud the opposition doesn't mean you are going to war and this will get nasty or anything like taht. I mean, I'm all for fairplay and justice and sportsmanship, but this is too much. I would never want to applaud them either. Makes no sense. This whole football business is becoming a bit too sensitive and PC for my liking. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice "humiliation" for Barca but still, out of principle, I'd prefer they not clap and just keep the healthy animosity alive. Any thoughts?

Alright now I have a bit more time to post. Well its tradition though and it would be a new low in the eyes of everyone but most of all the media if they did not do it. Why should they not clap? I would expect us to do the same if we are in their position. Anyway Raul made is nicer for them as he shook everyones hand and we did not walk out in a single file line and all. Also hats off to Rikjaard for standing there and being the first to congratulate us as well as the players who stood and applauded us on.

As for the game, everyone was ******* amazing. Diarra was a monster both on the defence and offense, I don't remember him playing a game this good. This is the Diarra I would keep, if only he would play like this week in and week out. Marcelo also had his best game for us and owned both Messi and Zambrotta. Shame on VV for becoming Rivaldo x2 and trying to get him sent off by faking an injury, I'm glad he got a yellow card for that ****. One last note goes to Ramos for again being everyone, even on the LW:tongue: But today everyone played a really good game, it was an all around great team performance.

Soooo...fyi we tied Zaragoza 2-2 in a thrilling game where the team once again performed very well..I think we have found the pretty football that was spoken of for so long, at the very least we are playing some good stuff...special mention to Robihno..nicely done...and Guti and Sneijder once again...also Metzelder looked good..I think if he stays healthy he'll anchor the line with pepe....oh yeah Marcelo looked quality as well....and DUDEK! he was amazing today!..good job team!

Levante players and staff are currently owed up to 14mil euros, and have already gone on strike. This means that they may show up to the Bernabeu, but not play at all. It is an unfortunate turn for events surrounding the Levante team, but a game will have to be played before the celebrations. And I personally wouldn't blame them if they actually went forward with their strike. Levante has already received the backing of the majority of La Liga teams, and Madrid players have also expressed their support.

Listening to some of the Levante players talk in the radio interview, it is sad what they are going through, because you know that it is their Job and what they do to survive.Having to show up and not get paid is much worse because you don't know what will happen next. Some of the players are being forced to sell their cars, take loans from their homes, borrow money from friends and families. Well the list is long.

As a madrid fan, I will be looking forward to the celebrations after the games. But at the same time, I hope the Levante players get paid their dues and we have game against them and not someone from another league..

Indeed it is a bad situation to be in and I have herad the story going on for a while now. I think we even offered to pay Levante to play..but anyway it seems like they wont want to play as they are on strike and so we might play some other team to make up for the game as celebrations will continue as planned. The new kits look awsome, I am getting one for sure. Nice way to end the season, Wesley scored an amzing goal and Guti with a great assist for the second goal. I also can't believe that him and Raul will miss the Euro, they should be there for sure.

If this is true than this is great news for us, no its actually fantastic news for us. Great way to end the season. I think we have a very special club, Schuster is the one for us, and things look bright for the near future (CL!!!). Oh I agree, and I think most people do as well. Well Madrid fans that is at least, before his injury he was our best player. There is no doubt about that, its just a shame that he could not play 100% fit was Roma and it backfired on us as it made him more injured but anyway I am sure we all want him to stay. I for one would not sell or trade him for anyone.

Huntelaar would be a great additon IMO, both Raul and Ruud are getting older and it would be the perfect time to get him IMO. I have liked how we have treated the younger players that have been coming in. Like Marcelo, Higuain, Gago, and etc. It's not been just sink or swim, we have actually been smart in how we are developing them. Look at how much Marcelo has benefited since he has joined him and to the end of this season.

Essien would be a dream come true but really I doubt we could get him right now and plus we are brining back DLR and J. Garcia so the midfield is pretty packed IMO plus we have Gago, Guti, Diarra, and of course Wesley.

Huntelaar = Green light. Ronaldo = Red light. Really, don't think we need any other players. We should keep working and have faith in the gago's Higuain's who, imo, have proven to be very good players. I especially love higuain. To be honest, he reminds me alot of Raul in work ethic, sweating the shirt and having the values. He is the perfect Madridista imo. I think he will be with us for a long time. I love his fighting spirit and he seems like a healthy young man, both spiritually and physically. At the moment, Im not too concerned about turning him into a scoring machine. I am happy with his embodiment of the Madrid spirit. I would have loved to have garay for next season instead of leaving him at Santander but I guess it wont hurt.

Soldado was a non factor in all honesty, Julio did alright but admitedly was experiencing a horrible lack of form late in the season...and then Robihno, I would not want to see him go, but to trade him off for Ronaldo is not a bad business deal. totaly agree, robinho has so much natural ability, the only problem with him is he is much too small for a professional footballer.

but thats why we've got walter di salvo look how big ronaldo is, that was all his work. I read somewhere that he was going to make a specific program for him next season to build him up and get some extra kilos into his legs. if this happens hell be the best no doubt.

no one is doubting his abi;ity he is a great player IAMO but the team doesnt need him that bad we have a decent team and i think we need to spend that money wisely on a few young talented players.

yeh he will make us about 700mill over 10 years (apparently) but, weve just come out of the galacticos era and this seems to be a step back more then anything. weve already ****ed our realtionship with manu so now they are going to be extra motivated to **** us over, were getting reported to fifa. i really dont think hes worth all this hassle and money. and look how he is behaving towards man u the club that has made him who he is, who says he wont do the same to us? but at the end of the day if we end up getting him i wont mind, i guess he could turn out to be a good buy but who knows.

I think if he came he would be number 17 and dont forget he would still be wearing number 7 for portugal and Ruud would be givin the number 9 shirt although if Robinho leaves Ruud could take the number 10 and Huntelaar could take number 9, i know Soldado is number 9 but he will be sold or loaned im sure.

Yeah I would like him, he could be a perfect replacement for Raul, he could start taking over that position, cause regardless of how good el capi's season was, he is getting on in years...and he is spanish, which is good, but I would still feel our more pressing need is a killer in the area like Van Gol...but sure i wouldnt mind Villa

think Juan Vargas would be a really good signing for R. Madrid (not cuz he's peruvian, but because he is considered one of the best left backs in Serie A right now)
He is got a great shot, he is physically tough, good technique, (kind of like how Heinze plays)

Now that Portugal has been eliminated, the C.Ronaldo saga will be at full force in the media.There saying that if Ronaldo come to Madrid, Robinho will no longer be in Schuster plans. I would not want to see Robinho leave Real Madrid because before he injury in the last season, he was Real Madrid best player. I am sure he would have continue to play great if not of his injury. But if Ronaldo come, it will be hard for Robinho to have some playing time with Schuster.They said his wingers will be Ronaldo and Robben. Robben is a great player but you never know with his injuries.
