I was thinking this for a while, EA this year has promised us a lot (as does every single year to be honest). Some previews had been written saying some addition to the upcoming game will make the difference. State all your thoughts about the possibility FIFA08 became the number one football game.

I didn't like the gameplay in PES6. Also there aren't so many teams in PES. If they could get a proper lincense and gameplay like PES5 had or even better, PES would be the number one like in the past...

However graphics don't make a game and PES has "ok" graphics, I have to admit that FIFA was better this year (with some gameplay updates). I think FIFA has quite good chances but you never know what Konami has done. Interesting, we will se at autumn then... :)

And just the same as every year they will deliver something that does not (and cannot, really) live up to all the hype, but which is just good enough to a) get us all to buy it and b) persuade us that next year they really might get it right, so that we buy that version too

Anyway, the PC version was a lot better than the "next gen" version in 07. No comparison there. So if they release a PC version with a lot more leagues and teams and stadiums, it will still be far superior. And than there are the mods...the patches, the editors...all PC.

So I'll stick to Fifa 08 on PC no matter what.
