View Full Version : COPA AMERICA 2007: Peru vs Venezuela KingPaulV 30-06-2007, 11:16:PM The previous game: Uruguay 1 Bolivia 0 El Diablo Rojo 30-06-2007, 11:19:PM I'm seeing a 2-2 here in a fierce battle for the leadership of the group. I hope this will be more entertaining than Bolivia-Uruguay.:S Weird, the mexican Archundia is the referee but the linesmen one from Paraguay and the other one from Colombia.:o KingPaulV 30-06-2007, 11:25:PM I call it 2-1 Peru....too much with Farfan, Guerrero and Pizarro El Diablo Rojo 30-06-2007, 11:30:PM Disallowed goal for Venezuela, it wasn't wrongly disallowed. Peru is being fast in the midfield so far. KingPaulV 30-06-2007, 11:30:PM Venezuela seem better than in the first match from the go KingPaulV 30-06-2007, 11:39:PM Deserved red card for Peru KingPaulV 30-06-2007, 11:54:PM MUCH better game for Venezuela, I think Peru are still trying to do their game El Diablo Rojo 30-06-2007, 11:56:PM Venezuela looks more threatening but Peru is not giving up easily, Venezuela wasted some chances. Nice header by Peru after a cross of Farfan. KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:07:AM Man I wonder if venezuela wil get the goal, they look hungry but incapable KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:14:AM HT 0-0 Venezuela looked the better team...Peru look nothing like the team against Uruuay El Diablo Rojo 01-07-2007, 12:15:AM HT 0-0. So-so for now, a bit entertaining lacks chances and goals, Venezuela play looks interesting, however Arango has done nothing still. Peru looks fast when they get the ball but they aren't as threatening. KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:37:AM GOOL Venezuela ! El Diablo Rojo 01-07-2007, 12:41:AM Good job by Venezuela, now Peru will have to push to get the ball and create chances. I think the venezuelan are starting to understand the thing, whistling when the rival passes the ball to their keeper and chanting "ˇOlé! ˇOlé!" when their players pass the ball around not allowing the rival to get it.:o KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:42:AM Venezuela has to go and get this match they cant go and defend like they did against bolivia KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:47:AM Wow what do you think penalty or what? El Diablo Rojo 01-07-2007, 12:48:AM The match is more entertaining now back and forth. The defense of Venezuela was shaky and Peru almost scores, was there a not called penalty in there? And then Venezuela answered with good shot from Maldonado saved by Butron.:o KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:48:AM i think it was BayernBoz 01-07-2007, 12:50:AM Ref. licks nuts. KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 12:50:AM smarter coaching by venezuela they bring a striker for a striker not like last game BayernBoz 01-07-2007, 01:04:AM Not even close to an offside. These refs need to go back to reffing U-8s. Farfan was tearing up first half. ....goal for Venezuela.....2-0 El Diablo Rojo 01-07-2007, 01:04:AM What a dumb way to get redcarded, it looked like an offisde to me a tough call there, still Arizmendi scored, Venezuela wins 2-0. El Diablo Rojo 01-07-2007, 01:21:AM What the **** was that free kick??? Oh well with some brawls but Venezuela still won the match 2-0. djgperu1 01-07-2007, 01:29:AM fvkin mexican ref ... ***ed up Peru so bad... (this is the same ref that ***ed up the canadeans by disallawin a clear goal against usa at the end of game; Gold cup Semi-finals) first of all he didnt call in some obvious faults from both sides.. and that Obvious penalty that he didnt even see....:nape: in the 2nd goal, it waz a clear fault by the venezuelan player and then they got drove the ball and score... and at the end... he called in a FK for some stupid **** that no one even knew wat it waz for... bout the red card... it waznt even that hard of a hit.. if you look at the replay u will see hez just tryin to get the venezuelan player off his back .... but i guess most refs would have called that a red too :jambo: El Diablo Rojo 01-07-2007, 01:34:AM Juggling the ball during a match equals a direct free kick for the other team, what the **** is that?:| The offiside that ended up being in the red card of Paez was a correct call and a deserved second yellow card for him. But other than that he indeed messed up for both sides, the climax being the penalty for Peru. Overall the match was different, better, in the second half Maldonado, by a tiny difference, was the man of the match. Venezuela won but they still make silly mistakes in defense. ninobomba 01-07-2007, 01:38:AM wow... that ref totally robed peru for an equaliser... what kind of call was that KingPaulV 01-07-2007, 05:00:PM I think all in all the ref let them hit each other both ways he coul d have called a lot more fouls but he didnt, it was a derserved victory for venezuela, dont ask a team that is on the up and coming to win with class. a win is a win and it counts |
