Go to the www.fifa2001.ea.com (http://www.fifa2001.ea.com) then playstation 2 game features and you will find this:
"Analog buttons give users precise control of pace and shot power"
It looks like there is a shot power bar.

I'm sure there is (kind of). On the PS2 Video (FIFA2001.com) there is a type of powerbar similar to ISS 64 in that the power bar is inside the control icon, also the pass completion code from FIFA2000 has been retained (Red for impossible, green for clear etc) it was difficult to see coz the japanese symbols for numbers were in the way.
