Why didn't they make FIFA 2001 so it can run under Windows 2000?

More and more people are usuing Win 2000 for OS, and then EA are still making state of teh art games that can only run under Win 98 or the ancient Win 95?

I ask myself the same question, win2k is by far and away the best os and nt is what microsoft will base future os's on after winMe of course but for some reason ea have not made it compatible with win2k. Considering the fact Euro2000 ran under win2k it quite strange they did not make it compatible and personally speaking I am quite pissed off.

The fact I am obsessed with Win2k means I either set up a dual boot system or load WinMe or 98 on my other drive meaning when I get the urge to play it I have to swap drives, man what an inconvience.

Just a quick theory. Who knows its probably a conspiracy between ea and microsoft to keep gamers using 98 or WinMe and keep the rest on 2000, therefore microsoft wins with users using both the Win9x based os and 2000 and ea being compensated in some way hehe, just a theory but in this day and age who knows!!!!

Perhaps, Iv'e also heard people who said that FIFA 99 somehow ''magically'' worker under Win2000.
