Im absoloutely gutted as I cant get either a direct ip or matchup game to run.

The problem is severe lag, before you say it,
Ive closed down all background apps and have no virus checker running or screensavers enabled, only the following.

Explorer
Systray
Rnaap
Fifa2001

Athlon 850
Biostar MBOARD
G Force 32MB AGP- Guillimot Prophet
(Im using latest Nvidia Detonator drivers)
128 MB RAM
S Blaster Value
10GB HD - 4GIG FREE
External US Robotics V90 Modem

The game runs like a dream Modem v Modem - fully cranked up.
I have turned everything down graphically and disabled sound in a vain attempt to get Direct IP working - The game starts ok, until a goal is scored then it freezes, my oponents all claim to manage without any probs, so its definitely my end.
I dont know what effect playing with differing versions make, I have updated through fifa2001 to latest version.
Incidently, I have logged onto 3 different ISP's - it made no difference.
Im already signed up to several leagues so I really do need this problem fixed, before I really piss off all my opponents.
