This may sound as a shock, but I predict that in the long run Microsoft will have the best soccer game around ( I am talking several years from now) thye have the best ball physics (in MS IS 2000) The graphics were also outstanding. When it comes to games and Microsoft, they actually don't rush to release a game, they actually take the time to fix everythign up to perfection (Crimson Skies is an exception) Just take a look at MS international soccer 2000 and you will see what i mean.

this is the way i see it..the way these comapnies care about:MONEY!

1- EA has the most selling games w/ the huge license advantage(even if not for everything but more than anyone)

2- Konami want to enter this market but NO LICENSE? then focus on EA's weaknesses or consumers' demands:
gameplay,player appearance

3- Konami win a good amount of customers but not enough:
no license+ not on PC
4- EA see danger then
1)ADD a few FEATURES FROM ISS: (slightly)
power bar,1-2's, player movement w/out ball,bigger pitch..
2) focus more on their strengths so konami can't catch up in these:
graphics,kits... +license(more leagues....)
(they know they have to re-design the whole system for better gameplay than ISS_)

5-Konami :
1)purchase a license but not as much as FIFA's
2)focus more on improving graphics
3) maintain their gameplay w/ slight improvements so EA can't catch up in

so if u forget about games these are 2 comapnies each took a direction in the product and will always have it:

-ISS will always have better gameplay but probably less teams,graphics than FIFA

-so don't expect FIFA's gameplay to be DRAMATICALLY better nor ISS's license to have as much teams as FIFA's

ATLEAST FOR A YEAR OR 2.

it's your pick: TO ME IT'S HOW MUCH EVERYONE IMPROVES ON HIS WEAKNESSES!

i've played it it has some pretty good things but overall it is even less playable than FIFA.. at least that's what i felt

What did you guys think of UEFA Champion leaugue 1999/2000, i think this is the greatest PC Soccer game eve, big pitch (lots of room to think etc..) lots of detail put into the game, it soooo AWESOME! fi u can find this guy, i strongly recommend u buy it
