I don't know guys if you're in charge of the developement of the game but i want to say that it is totally unfair that Southamerica is not part of the game... I'm peruvian and i would like to play as Peru in a world cup tournament.
I think that Argentinan League should be in the game cuase it's as important as the brazilian league (and way more important than greece or korea leagues)...
Let me tell you something: FUTBOL in southamerica is a passion, ok? Itīs the King of sports, people even forget political issues if their national team wins a match!!!!!
I know that Southamerica is not a big consumer of videogames (lack of money is the main reason) but there's thousands of young people like me who has the money to buy a playstation (or a PS2) and loves the Fifa series.
One way to motivate people here to buy the new FIFA 2001 will be to add at least the Argentina League to the new tittle... The Mexican League is also important (i know it is northamerica but when it comes to LATINOS, we are all the same)...
One more thing: SPANISH COMMENTATORS!!!!
Now, about gameplay... I really hope this time goalkeepers are not so naive!!! Make them save a few shots!!! And please they must not fly (they are not Superman, are they?)
You must give us the chance to make our own strategies and tactics, for example: let us position each player where ever we want, FOR EXAMPLE if i want one of my midfielders a little bit more to the right than being in the center.
Another thing is that we should have the chance to send only ONE player to mark an opposin player..
Please make direct freekicks a little bit easier and there should be an option where you can choose to send guys to block the freekick (CALLED Barrera in Spanish) or just send them to avoid the headers...
The tricks with the ball: please make them look more realistic and include the old ones... If it's posible to include a move where a player can pass the ball right through the legs of the defender and still be in possession of the ball (called HUACHA in Peru) DO IT! Also make a move where you can avoid that by makin a foul (interference for example)...
Show replays or cinematics of the FOULS... That should add realism to the game because it would bring discussion between players if there was foul or not or offside or not...
Well i hope you understand this letter, i apologize if you didn't understand my english... you must understand it's not my mother tongue!!
I know EA is doing one hell of a job, so congratulations and i'm sure we all will have fun with the new Fifa 2001...
Bye
