Hey there, my name is James and I am new here.

I have first of all made a nice fantasy Nike kit for my soon to be career team, Bristol Rovers. I have imported the kits before with KitRaptor and they work fine, but as soon as I use CM07 to edit name fonts, add third kit etc., the next time I start FIFA and try to start any sort of game or career, the whole thing shuts down. I have reinstalled it and tried again, but to no avail. I was wondering what conflicting problems there might be there, and what I need to do in the future to put kits into the game properly.

I would also like to know what the o-file and o-edit do to the game, and how useful it is to kit making in general.

Thanks in advance to everyone, sorry if this thread is in the wrong place, and I would also like to apologise for my ignorance.

Peace out,
James (Freeloader4491)

EDIT: Just to let you guys know what I am trying to import, and to find out whether it is worth it :P, I give you my Rovers fantasy front:

Hey Pacino, if I can call you that :P

I got the strokes by using a darker blue with the blue of the kit colour with the fibers filter, under Render. It creates a really nice random stripy effect that you can see on the kit. I made it more subtle by changing the opacity of the layer to 50%.

I hope this answers your question.

I don't know if it's a problem as such, I just don't know how everyone imports their kits into the game. What do you do? I would also like to know what the o-file does, as everyone says it's essential.

Thanks dude!

I can make more kits with the same template as my rovers one if anyone wants them.

Most people use Creation Master by Rinaldo to import many things...Kits..Flags...faces...rosters...balls...a dboards etc.

CM07, is a very particular tool, if you're gonna edit a lot of stuff (meaning, balls, flags, ads, boots) you must do everything step by step, when you do balls, focus exlusevely on it and do all you can do at that time, 'cause you can forget to put those to files, that give you the "near" and "far" perspectives, and the game is gonna crash; you forget to install a boot and the game is gonna crash, so my friend YOU are the only one that will know what is wrong with your editing, so again be very careful when you edit a lot of stuff, and backtrack yourself, to seee were you did wrong
it's the only help i can give you...hope you an pass this...farewell

Hey guys, I have just come back from an 8 hour shift, and my feet are killing me. :(

But, on a brighter note, the feedback has been fantastic!

One thing, I think I definitely wanna use CM07, but is it still okay to check kits with KitRaptor? It would also great if anyone told me what databases to touch and which to not, and how to access backups.

Thank you sooo much for all your help guys, it is much appreciated.

I would also like opinions on the quality of the front/improvements to make etc.

you don't need the kitraptor, 'cause CM07 has a regenerator just as well, but if you want to use it, it's ok

Hey, thanks for you help kruger.

I would just like to know if there is a thread about kit mapping.

I have searched for it already, but can't find anything.
