The computer no longer recognises my current control pad for the PC, so it looks like I need a new one so i was thinking of trying to use an Xbox controller on the PC. Does anyone know where I can buy a suitable adapter to let me do this?

All you need to do is cut the end of the wires from your old xbox an find a old usb wire that you dont need and attach it to the other end of the old xbox controller .the old xbox controller is really usb.

How do you mean? Won't that ruin the xbox controller meaning i cant use it for the xbox?
